I did not want to spend a lot of money because I have an IPhone but I wanted something that was compact and I could get great sound no matter the size. I have tried the arm band with my IPhone but I do not like to lift weights with something on my arm. I feel I cannot get the workout I want when it is arm day. The shuffle is so easy just clip it on my clothes and go. In my car I just plug it in put it in my compartment between the fronts seats and go.

I bought this to use when working in the yard, exercising on the elliptical and it has worked out great. It's compact, lightweight and very easy to use the controls. Sounds great too.

Love this as it is very portable. Can take anywhere and store anywhere. Easy to download music too. Only thing I don't like is the little clip is hard to use even for my small hands. Just make sure it's off when you attach to shirt, jacket etc. Love having music no matter where I go and it recharges quickly and have not yet ran out of battery on my walks and runs.

I just wanted an MP3 player that would be easy to use and play for a long time without loosing battery life. This shuffle is it.... so easy to use and it clips securely to my coat pocket. I just love it!

It is a Greta small size with clip for working out. Good price. Easy and fast set up using iTunes. Plus it is my favorite color and different colors to chose from.

The Shuffle has a really known brand (Apple products) that I trust a lot. The colors and design of the shuffles are pretty attractive, they are easy to use (I am giving one of them to my mom), really intuitive. It is light and small (easy to carry around), but be careful to not scratch or create stains in the white parts. Also, mine was okay, but the headphones of 3 of my friends came with problem (even though it was easy go and ask to change it it is not a good thing about it).

I purchased the iPod shuffle so that I can listen to music while I work out and not have to lug my phone or big iPod around. The clip works nice...I just hook on my iPod and off I go. The size allows for a good amount of songs and the color is cool!

Use this bad boy for working out and it's great. Small enough to stay out of the way. I'm not distracted by calls, and fits almost 200 songs. Great way to narrow down work out music!

The Shuffle is easy to use, even if you're not tech-savy. I am a runner and I especially like it because it's so compact and clips easily to clothes. The only thing I would change would be a display of some sort so you can see what song is playing.

Although I'm not much of an avid runner these days, I would say that the iPod shuffle is GREAT. When I would run before, I would have to lug around my phone or my iPod Touch, worrying in the back of my head that I would drop it or constantly checking if someone texted or emailed. The Shuffle is very lightweight and can clip wherever. I was a little intimidated by the instructions and having to remember what buttons did what, especially with navigating through multiple playlists. This wasn't so bad once I started using it more. Only thing that would make it better would be Bluetooth capabilities so I wouldn't have to deal with a long cord. Not a deal breaker though. Very much pleased with this item.

I love the ease of use of this little unit. I was going to by the Nano for the Nike fit app and pedometer function but my husband convinced me that if I go that route I should just get the Ipod Touch. So after some discussion I decided to go with the shuffle. Later down the road my husband will upgrade his 32GB Touch to a 64 and give me his 32. What's great is that I don't have to look at a touch screen to change songs, play or stop. I can do it all by feel which is actually less distracting than if I had to look at a screen. If I need a pedometer or activity tracker I'll buy a separate device. I don't need tons of storage so this seems fine. I can pull songs from my my husbands iTunes and create my playlists of favorites. I did have to take my unit back and get a replacement because it seemed like the unit was not charging properly or holding the charge so I'm hoping the replacement unit does a better job on charging. The Best Buy employees advised that I should buy other earbuds and they were right. The sound quality might be fine if they were comfortable to wear but they aren't. I bought the pink color. I read reviews that said it was salmon and not pink and that's why I bought the pink... I love the salmon color. I would have bought red but I'd have to buy that color through the istore.

my old ipd shuffle went kaput on me. Went to buy another one. Not making that model anymore. I was happily surprised to find the new model even smaller. Very easy to use. Only cannot shuffle anytime I want.

Compact player. Good sound. Holds enough songs for me. Easy to down load my music.

This little Ipod is great for running. It is small and lightweight. It's great for my 12-year-old son that wants to listen to his songs while running on the treadmill or on trails. Easy to use and set up.

After my Phillips GoGear Vibe MP3 player died after 3 long years of use, I started looking for a quality, easy to use player that could withstand the rigors of daily use on runs. Immediately, I focused my search on the iPod Shuffle. I was initially drawn to it for the small aluminum body, variety of colors, and built-in clip. My only reservation was the limited memory capacity. I decided the ~200 songs it could hold would be sufficient for my needs, but still I wish it could hold more songs. I highly recommend this product to runners and fitness fanatics who need an easy to use and small yet rugged MP3 player.

I love the iPod shuffle because it is small and because you can clip it on your shirt or anywhere you want, it doesn't get in the way when you're working out. It hold more songs on it than you will know what to do with and unlike the old Shuffle, the voice over feature lets you know what track you're listening to. Did I mention the beautiful colors the Shuffle comes in?

iPod shuffle is great for taking on runs; it's size doesn't get in the way or weigh you down and it can hold tons of music for you to listen to on runs, walks, and other gym workouts.
