Perfect for taking to the gym or throwing in your purse. I love that it's small and portable, the built in clip works well - no slipping.

I like almost everything about the Ipod Shuffle. It holds plenty of music, with the right headphones (like the ones that come with it), it sounds great, and it is easy to use. The only thing I don't like about it is the clip, often times when trying to attach it to my running shorts or shirt it either turns off or changes songs because the clip can't be opened without touching the controls; a small issue but one I've found to be a problem.

Simple enough for the kids to use. Compact enough to carry around when mowing the lawn etc.

This item is easy to carry during workouts, holds plenty of music, and tolerates the bumps and bruises of a workout or a run.

One of the best products ever from Apple at < $50, just discontinued along with the Nano as most use their phone for music. But I love to clip this to the strap on the back of my baseball cap and plug in short cord earphones for walking and jogging without the bother and weight of an expensive phone.

I use this when I go running. Perfect size, easy to use without looking at it. Clips straight to my clothes. Love it. =)

I use this to work out - simple to set up my running playlist. Accidentally went through one wash cycle and survived (although that was just lucky - we've lost others)

Bought another two as I heard Apple was discontinuing. A little old school but when you just need music and not your phone it's tremendous. Easy to use, holds lots of music, and you don't even notice the weight. Downside is no play lists but that's minor. Highly recommended.

Decided to get a new iPod Shuffle after my 2nd gen sync/charger docking cable decided to go on the fritz. I liked the increased storage (from 1GB to 2GB), and the added VoiceOver feature was a pleasant surprise. Overall, a great upgrade that I was pleasantly surprised by. My only single comment is that when I try to clip it somewhere, I always end up forwarding or reversing the song list. But this little issue is not a big deal to me.
