Yes, I did really it that I just first got it from the Apple Store! But I don’t like for some of these specs that are a little bit messed up for this product. So, when I did speed it up, it does hold long lasted battery an about 2 hours in 30 minutes, like the iPhone 6s and SE. And while I did that, I also make it go way super faster by trying to have it run well as much as possible, and then they both did after I have to restart it to boot up. So, I’m also gonna have to able to wait for the 8th Generation to come out in the next 5 years that it needs to get the battery and CPU processor with the inside of the chip performance that will eventually get updated by Apple with it’s last final product.

I am a Note 10 user, but bought this iPod to use during workouts and to listen to books without the distraction of a full phone. I ti slight and compact, and It is great for these purposes. Pairs well with Airpods. However, the touch screen is sometimes non responsive or inaccurate. The other drawback is battery life. I am down to 50% after only TWO hours of listening via AirPods. So, cute device, but clearly, Apple ha ssimply upgraded the processor and added memory, but ignored other aspects of design. A money-make for AAPL, but not great for the user.

I always wanted one of these and when I saw they will no longer be available . . . I grabbed one of the last ones, just like I grabbed two more iPod Classics once those were announced as ending. It's basically a shirt-pocket iPhone without the phone part, but you can use Skype and other 3rd party applications to make calls :)

Great product. I love to use this to save the battery on my phone for long trips.

The features are so pronounced, such that, the activities seem endless. It streams seamlessly and without interruptions. It's user friendly. The added bonuses make the thought of purchasing the iPod easy. The bonuses makes learning and operating it beneficial. I am pleased over this.

unless you have a newer computer. I have an old computer and my iPod 6th Generation worked fine with iTunes. However, the 7th Generation (I bought the 128) DOES NOT WORK on my version of iTunes and my computer does not support the new version of iTunes. My computer is in perfectly good working condition and I have no intention of buying a new one JUST for iTunes. I am a long-time iPod user since I am not a phone person. I have the original, a Touch 5th Gen, a Touch 6th Gen and just bought the Touch 7th Gen - which I will be returning. $300 is TOO MUCH to pay for a device that i CANNOT LOAD MY OWN MUSIC on. It's a shame since I am a devoted iPod user. If you have a newer computer that will support the newer iTunes, it might work for you. But, I'd find out that information before I bought it - otherwise, you'll end up like me having to return it. I reached out to Apple Support on Twitter and they weren't much help, tho they did answer me with this: "In order to use iTunes with your new iPod, you would need to be able to download the newer version of iTunes." Bottom line, I can't use the 7th Generation with my older computer since it does not support that version of iTunes. Be warned.

Best Buy is NOT the issue!! Apple is... 2 years ago I bought an iPod touch from them and i thought it worked very nicely. I got it in early February of 2017. By June.. I was already out if storage. I bought a 32 GB and had 9 videos, 37 pictures, no music and few apps. I checked the apps making sure they weren't the problem.. they weren't. A whole year passed and I kept having the same storage problem. I updated, restarted, nothing worked. In November of 2018, I took my iPod on a hike. I have allergies so I have to bring my medication with me wherever I go. It must stay chilled. I put my phone in a safe pocket away from heat and cold. Three days later, I go to take a picture and my iPod shows a blank screen. I tried EVERYTHING! I even took it in to some "Apple Experts." They of course wanted me to buy buy buy so I didn't get any good answers out of that. Then, in May of 2019, my iPod had to be plugged in the whole time. I couldn't unplug it or it would die. I spoke to my friends and people with iPods, realizing all iPods have a very cruddy battery life... from day 1. Hope you haven't fallen asleep about my review.. but I also hope you now have considered at least a different apple product. Maybe a newer phone. I now have a samsung because, personally, I cant trust apple.

The battery on the touch goes down VERY FAST, even with all apps closed down. It is okay for what we need it for, but the battery is the biggest issue. It is hard to endorse this item for the price with the battery issue it has.

Using Airplay results in 2-channel sound only. Very disappointing. I wanted Atmos.

The battery life is extremely short on this expensive device.

Received item broken, sent back for refund, they have had my item for 45 days and are now saying that it's non returnable and won't give me my money back
