Dropped it not even a week into having it (not even a high drop or hard drop) and the screen completely went into having lines across the entire thing to the point you couldn’t make anything out, it wouldn’t turn off- had to let it die. Ended up having to take it into apple store to get it replaced. My other daughter did the same to hers and the guy at the store said the screens sometimes did it when they were dropped. Not loving that

Its ok, but the sound lacks. My daughter has an iphone and the sound is better there than on this ipod.

Thought it would be easy to put my music on like my old one. Can't get it to copy music or playlists. PIA

The battery on this was terrible! I returned! It ran out much quicker than my 7 year old iPad. Why would I want to replace a beautifully sized iPad with an iPod you can barely read save for the battery was supposed to last much longer. There were no benefits at all to having this iPod for the high cost.

Took hours to get it where I wanted it too... so I called it a night.

It glitches alot and it freezes up alot and i hate it so much

his was a piece of trash as compared to my 6th gen ipod touch. My 7th gen had a volume limit. It would only turn up to about 75% of the old model. No, it wasnt an issue with the settings. Thank you, Best Buy for giving me the ability to return the product. This was a bad product, not a reflection of best buy

Nothing new, should have better durability. So I suggest getting some type of protective case

The screen seems so small. It really should be bigger.

I liked the iPod classic better than this one, the iPod 7 touch us ok.

Thing must have been sitting on the shelf for years... as these ipod touches arent as popular anymore and my sons battery dies as quick as a 3 yr old iphone. Just got it for xmas and hes been complaining about it since.

Bought to play music. But due to battery life, at best can play for couple of hours before having to charge, so not much use as a portable wo carry extra charger

Hate it, Hate it, Hate it! But it's the only thing that will sync with my Apple Music. This thing is a fricking pain to use. I can never remember which way to swipe, or what button to push to make it do what I want! No user guide or anything! But they have a monopoly on the market, so they know they can treat me any way they want to because I have to buy their products! I want my ipod classic back! And all those apps for which I have no use! That's why I have a phone! I am a long time Apple user (I'm typing this on my MacBook pro) who is finally fed up with apple! But there's no other way I can listen to my music!

I prefer the older iPod without touch screen. This is just an iPhone without the phone call capability. Literally everything a iPhone has except phone calls. You can text, FaceTime, surf the internet and all that Jazz. Might as well get a new phone.

I don't enjoy this at all. The menus are anti-intuitive. I still can't figure out how to get the playlists easily. My previous iPods were easier to use. Don't buy this unless you mindlessly love all Apple products.

This device is only for music purchased through Apple. It is not possible to transfer your music purchase elsewhere to this device. It must be run through the apple play store. Returned it.
