Oh my, what can I say! Purchased this I-pod ( was the last one in the case that particular day) for granddaughter. Watching & observing how she would take care of it - whether she would keep up with it, drop it a lot, or just lose interest in it. (She is 8 years old & mature for her age) I have to say, she goes NOWHERE without her I-pod. Uses it all the time! She texts me every day & also calls me on it. What a perfect purchase for this child. Thanks!

Great device for kids and adults. Capacity is good. The screen is large enough to see what needs to be seen.

I purchased this for my 7 year old son. He has a DS but we found that the Ipod offers alot a features not covered with the DS. With the Ipod, he is able to download apps for games and shows. Additionally, he has access to a great camera and video plus he can Imessage other Iphone users which is great for our Apple family. Using the family plan with Itunes, I am able to not only control purchases, but also any downloads and we can share apps and music.

I was looking for something that I could listen to ebooks on and this is exactly what I was looking for.

Bought for my son who had one previously but was excited with upgrade in space, battery life and speed.

I have a very extensive music collection and rather than using my phone for music playback I still prefer setting up playlists of favs for a variety of functions. Or just to sit back and listen to on my own. Pretty handy to connect to external speakers for music during photoshoots while leaving my phone on vibrate in my pocket to monitor calls.

The IPOD Touch is a great tool if want a music player for fitness...but don't want to use your phone!. Its easy to navigate during sport and is lightweight enough to not be a burden as you are working out.

My husband has the smart phone while I went with the IPod touch 5th generation. Best choice for me as I can Face Time, text , check Face Book and even watch Netflix or Vudu. If that isn't enough I can take video and post to clients via Facebook or email. This is a remarkable device and provides all the connectivity I am seeking.

So this ipod was a christmas gift for my son. Hes had 2 older models prior to this one and so far i think the display and graphics are the best yet. Of course its something you would expect on the latest and greatest from apple. He loves the siri app and i think for such a small device it packs great features and functionality

We got two of these for our kids for Christmas! They are a great alternative to buying my kids cell phones. If they are in WiFi, they can text or FaceTime any IPhone or IPod so they can text/FaceTime me or each other, other family and friends and those people don't have to be part of our "Family Share". Love it!!

Could not pass this up at the black Friday price. Functions great right out of the box. The first ipod I have owned but have had no issues yet. use it for working out or with my portable speakers system on my deck.

My son wanted it to face time family and play games. He is 7 and loves it.

I bought this gift for my mom who had an old CD player. Now with the help of iTunes, she can listen to music in one central device with no moving parts. Best of all, she said this was the best gift she has received!! She listens on the iPod while walking and likes the features of the device.
