I love it!!! I love all the space I have now!!! I don’t have to worry that I can’t fit songs that I buy or that I can’t update because I don’t have enough space.

Great replacement for my dead iPod Classic

I was rocking an iPod Classic that was modified to have an SSD installed for seven years and loved the device until the battery finally succumbed to age. I tried getting a replacement, but the screen was starting to go out as well, and I knew that I needed a replacement that could store the amount of music I collected over the years, but at the same time could be played without the reliance of iTunes, the bane of my existence. Long story short, got FE File Explorer Pro ($4.99 on the App Store) was able to SSH directly into the hard drive of the iPod Touch, and was able to copy over all of my music with minimal hassle (had some file names that got too long and had to edit them before transferring). The music will not appear in Apple Music, however; FE File Explorer Pro comes with the ability to play many different types of music files, from MP3 and FLAC to even M4A and M4B audiobooks. Even though Apple has painstakingly put iOS 12.3 onto this device, I removed all the extra apps that I was not interested in to solely leave it as a music device, and it's able to do a fantastic job at that. The device has a fantastic battery life, the bluetooth connection is strong, the screen is vibrant despite its low pixel count - for what I use it for, it's perfect. A bit pricey, but still worth it.

I'm one of the few people out there who loves to keep his music and movies separate from his phone. I usually have the same media (podcasts, music, movies) available on both my Samsung Galaxy 10+ and my Ipod Touch. I just prefer to use my Ipod for media primarily. I previously had a 4th generation with 64GB. Now with my new improved model with 256GB memory, I have plenty of room. Perfect for what I've always wanted. I especially love that it's the same size as previous models. I didn't need to purchase a new case. My old case fits perfectly. Now I'm not sure if I'd ever get an Iphone as I prefer android phones. But at least with this Ipod touch I can still get used to the IOS operating system. If your on the fence on this purchase, it's worth it. I'd done my research and had waited. Glad I did.

I bought the iPod Touch 7th Gen - 256gb - to put my movies and music on. My fear is that they’ll do away with the iPod Touch in the future and I like having my entertainment on a separate device. My iPhone XS Max is 512gb, but if I watch a movie or two after going to bed, I’ll suck the juice up and for fear of a power outage or unforeseen emergency, I never want to compromise the power for entertainment purposes. My iPad and iPhone charge at night and the Touch charges by day. The size is perfect for my purchased movies which I really only need listen to for I know the scenes by heart. I’m asleep in no time.

Great to finally have enough room for my music collection. It’s a iPhone 4 with no calling abilities. I don’t know if it’s the iPod touch or iTunes but something is crap. It doesn’t download all my music and album covers. Keeps giving me -54 error. I literally have to check every song to make sure it made it on to the iPod touch, which is ridiculous!! Even just downloading 1 album at a time. They sell the album but yet won’t let me put the album covers on some albums. And still leaves a song or 2 off that I still can’t get on to the iPod touch. For $399.00 I shouldn’t be going through this. You would think Apple would fix this already. Love my old iPod Classic never had this problem. This is a big problem when I’m downloading 80 thousand songs. Fix the -54 errors!!!

The 256 GB of storage space is AMAZING! I have a ton of music/audio, movies and TV shows, so it's great to have all of the space. It also has great speed and audio quality! I've had mine for almost a month and I haven't had any technical issues with it. The only personal issue that I have with it is that some of the installed apps you cannot delete. I only intend to use my iPod as an mp3 player. So I have no need or interest in having the apps like Messages or Wallets on it. They're just unnecessary and, even if it's just a little bit, they take up space.

After paying for an expensive Christmas, I was finally able gift myself this iPod which I had been eyeing for some time. I promptly freed up space in my iPad mini, which maxed out at 128gb. My iPod easily holds my entire music collection and all my photos. All this in a device small enough to fit in my pocket! Most satisfied with this!

Waited for ages until Apple finally released an Ipod with 256 GB of storage. I don't have an Iphone so the Itouch is exactly what I wanted. My Ipod Classic finally died; however, since it was only 128gb, I had run out of space and was at the point of deleting music off of it so this was a great upgrade. The only con I can say about it is that the Itouch has more bell and whistles than the Ipod and requires a little more figuring out the apps than the older models. Besides the additional storage, it does have camera and is wifi compatible. As an additional note, I did purchase a case and protective screen for it from a third party but would recommend the additional protection. If you don't have an Iphone, I would highly recommend.

Great product for all ages with this product make sure you get a case to go along with it Me personally what I can do with my iPod just some of the things I can do is download music listen to podcasts using it as an mp3 player when I'm not at home take videos take pictures it works just like a iPhone without data and one thing you can do that some parents would enjoy for their kids if they have a Apple product is track your kids or track whoever

I purchased this iPod to keep all of my music in one Physical place. Many times (running or camping) I do. It have access to my entire music library, but now I do. It is also a great back up device for your phone if it stops working and saves battery life for your phone if you use if for music consumption and podcasts. You can use it for all streaming services and it has plenty of memory. It’s not for everyone, but if you need a music dedicated device and don’t always have access to the cloud, this may be the device for you.

I love the Ipod Touch 256gb. There is plenty of room for all of my music and audiobooks. I have alot stored in my Itunes and of course, my Ipod 256gb now with lots of room left for more music. I don't like to stream. I like to own my music and take it with me wherever I go. The 7th generation is a little faster than the 6th generation but very similar, not much difference.

I have a TON of music on my iTunes, and I needed to replace my iPod Classic with something that had Bluetooth capability so I can use wireless headphones. I first bought a 128GB version of the iPod Touch, but I had more music than room on that one. That's why I bought this one. I like it a lot, but it hurt spending the money on it. If you get one of these (or ANY iPod), make sure you protect it with a case because these things are really small and most likely pretty fragile. For the money you spend, you'll be very upset if you break it easily.

As a person who loves music and listens to a bunch of podcast this MP3 player provides me with a great platform. I have enough space to store my music collection and also have space for my downloaded podcast. The size is good and overall quality is good. My only problem is the battery life could be better.

This is the iPod I have been waiting for. Well worth the wait and the money. I was able to get 52,450 songs on it so far and still have around 13gb of free space. I recommend setting the songs to 128 A AS which is the default for iTunes and you get a lot of room and the sound quality is still excellent. Now you truly can have all of your music in one place. I love it!

Love the extra room for my all of my songs and audio books. However, the battery really sucks. I have several ipods, both 6th and 7th generation and the battery really sucks. you only get about 3 hours worth if it is plugged into a device or you are playing the audio from the speaker on the device.
