I have alway loved iPods and the 5th gen does not disappoint. Outstanding graphics and video. Camera's on front and back are great for iChat and the battery life is generous. The only downsides to this unit are the price and how fragile it feels. Of course, the price is really not that bad considering everything it can do. I would buy this unit again and again. Hopefully, I won't have to.

Bought this to replace my 5th gen 16gb ipod - the 32gb and more has the back camera (which the 16gb did not have) - love the matte back design verses the shiny chrome that always left fingerprints

This is by far the best iPod produced so far. The camera is excellent, the device itself is thin and easy to handle. And best of all, it holds all of my music and videos. Great product.

For someone without a smartphone of any kind, this is an excellent alternative. Image using the iPhone 5 without having to deal with contracts, service fees, or anything else like that. It has great apps to choose from, great camera to capture amazing pictures of my rattata, and enough space (32GB) music, apps, and to save to pictures or whatever else you want.

For those kids out there watching their older siblings play with their phones constantly---this is a great substitute. It does everything an iPhone does except for be a phone. You can use it in Wifi to FaceTime though and can text using an email address to those also using an Apple product that is able to receive texts. My son loves it! He gets apps from the app store, can watch YouTube videos over Wifi, and text and FaceTime his grandparents. He loves the music as well and is able to pick the music he wants from iTunes. Items that are downloaded can be used outside of Wifi.

Bought it for my 9 year old. She loves the games, music, and the ability to text her friends that also have iPods. She can also FaceTime friends and family!

I own the iPad new, iPhone, and iTouch3 (still works great), and now the itouch 5. This product is another fantastic powerful. The retina screen is excellent, fantastic pic taking, face time, 700k apps available and icloud just adds power to it. I can carry my music, audible books, docs, movies, and watch TV using my brighthouse app. Wifi & Bluetooth works GREAT. Apple makes such a quality product surpassed by none. You must buy one to see the power, flexibility, and oh yes, addictive.

we like it, works well, camera is the best feature. like that it is small enough to fit in back pocket. the cost was great, we did go to walmart, sams club to compare and found the best price was at best buy. the feartures are good, color good, the price was great for the product. my granddaughter can take this anywhere. i like that it is durable product and for the cost , hope to keep for quite some time. i liked the variety of colors that were offered.

Got this for my daughter for her birthday. She loves it! I've had one myself in the past. Great for music & apps/games. Battery life seems to be good.

Bought this as an upgrade for my wife. She previously had a 3rd gen iPod, but had misplaced it. My wife had recently switched from iPhone to a Galaxy phone cause she wanted a larger viewing screen. Missed having FaceTime to be able to have chats with our kids and friends. The 5th gen iPod works fantastically, great sound, camera, and sharp vivid display. It just works and works and works. Easy to download music from iTunes, save pics, take pics.

I just upgraded from 4th gen with 8gb to 5th gen 32 gb.....now more storage with out worrying about space. This device does all that a PC can and more. Its faster too. Does everything but make calls and even that can be done if you really want to. It's like having a PC in my pocket since wifi is almost anywhere. I play games, read email and FB . Like the new camera features that do panoramic shots. I( have Otterbox for case protection)

This is easy to use, easy to set up and easy to figure out. It is fragile but no more so than other products. Good camera replaces a lot of other devices. It is a little expensive but worth it for the how easy it is to work; especially if you are not great with technology.

I bought this mainly to use for music. I've never owned an MP3 player or an Apple product. I like the fact that the iPod is basically an iPhone without the phone call capability so it has a lot of functionality other than just playing music and I don't need a smart phone. It's easy to use, slim and compact, has a camera that takes good pictures and I love the color of blue that I chose. I'm very happy with it.

Own device for two months now. Actually my first Apple product. I was hooked and became an instant fan. Apple products are user friendly. Love the design. High end feel. The disappointment is that there is no zoom when using camcorder mode. When paying this much for a device, you want it to be able to compete with other products for the same price range. Fails to do so when you don't have a simple feature like zoom on camcorder mode. Glass screen are great for design. But horribly fragile. For $300 device, you want it to last. I'm always scared this thing will break when I have it with me for my day to day routine. Had to invest in a case ASAP. And I haven't ran into this problem yet, but I hear that apple products have compatibility issues with music. They have their own M4a format. Most music collection, like mine, are in mp3 format. So you would have to convert your music to be able to listen to them.

Awesome piece of tech! I love and will cherish this item for years to come, plenty of storage, lots of apps, Sounds great thru Bluetooth to Stereo, I can go on and on but will not, If you got the money at your disposal Grab it up - You will not be disappointed. Only reason for a 4 out of 5 on Sound Quality is because even my cell phone sounds better, You can hear sounds but wish either there was sound boost or better built in speaker. One last thing, takes AMAZING pictures and has built in setting for Panoramic shots.

This iPod is very easy to use. It has great apps already installed and I found it very easy to use the App store to add more that were specific to my needs. I bought the 32gb so I should have plenty of room for all my 'stuff'. I now can stay in touch via e-mail, messenger and phone. I wanted the 'smartphone' technology without the monthly commitment. This was a perfect choice for me. I love it!

Really good to store your stuff. Take it wherever you go it also comes in nice colors. The camera is great. I really like it.

I've owned many mp3 players, but Apple is by far the best. Easy to use, stores pics, you can get all the apps from the iPhone/android, very durable.
