This was an X-mas giift for my son. He as fallen in love with this IPOD. He is never with out it. He takes it to work, listens to it in the car, and is on it until he goes to bed. Best gift I could have ever give him.

The 5th Generation iPod Touch Is Great!

I love my new 64gb iPod Touch. It's basically an iPhone 5 but it's thinner, has an anodized aluminum back, and lower specs. It came preloaded with iOS8 and I wasn't too pleased with it since it requires the newest version of iTunes. The 5th generation iPod Touch is still pretty expensive for a device that came out in 2012 and it's specs are comparable to an iPhone 4S. It's a great product besides that. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. The sound quality is good, it's easy to use, good battery life, and it has bluetooth.

This is my 4th iPod and I think it's the best yet. I had the iPod Classic, 2nd gen and 4th gen. I love the apps that make keeping track of news, weather, etc. so easy. The 64GB is large enough to hold plenty of music, apps and some favorite videos. I highly recommend the 64GB 5th gen iPod Touch. Believe me it can get filled up quickly with music, apps, etc. so that's why I went with the 64GB version. I love the blue color although I use a semi clear cover to keep the scratches down to a minimum. I also like that the iPod has a camera.

Although expensive, this is packed with convenient features. This has plenty of storage space for my more than 120 CDs, even at the highest conversion rate for aac files. Ability to use apps is a giant plus. I especially like FaceTime, which is kind of like Skype except better. You can also download games (I play Transformers), surf the web, check the weather and stocks, and a bunch of other things due to wi-fi capability. Probably the only thing wrong w/ this device is the price. It's extremely expensive. But in the long run, I'd argue it's worth it.

I used to think that an iPod was just used for listening to music, but this iPod touch does everything. Yes, listening to music, even through my car stereo, is great, but it also takes photos and video. I can Skype to friends using the built in camera. I can watch videos or play games while I am waiting for appointments or at the airport. I also rely on this amazing device to keep track of my contacts, appointments, notes, and anything else that is vital. If you don't need an iPhone, but you want everything else it does, this is for you. I don't know what I would do without my iPod!!!

This is my 3rd iPod. Each model gets better and better! I have over 1000 songs, tons of pictures and video and with 64GB have room for 1000's more! I love the new 5 megapixel camera. I've gotten some awesome pics and videos of our recent trip to northern California redwood country. With this much memory I don't fear running out of room. It is always a joy to seamlessly update to iPhoto on my iMac desktop. No problems with iOS7 and is so easy to update with iTunes. I don't have an iPhone (yet!) and I understand that this WiFi only but, occasionally I wish I could send pics to friends and family. I think 64GB would be a better choice if someone intends to take a lot of pictures/video.

Originally had the iPod classic 160GB but did not have any in store and didn't want to wait a week to get an ipod. Looked at the touch devices and brand new was $300 plus and felt that it wasn't worth it to purchase but found the open item that they had for 200 bucks and felt for it being a touch ipod and 64GB of storage was about right of what these things should cost. I'm using this strictly for what it is, a music player. I don't have iTunes synced and i have the airplane mode on at all times as i don't need to use the Wireless feature as it's not a phone. Using this preserves my battery life and don't have to get bugged for any updates. All in all the device is pretty cool for what it is but definitely wouldn't buy it at $300 dollars so I got a good deal out of it.

I have an iPad and lost my Classic iPod last year. It took me over 8 month to decide in between getting my old classic 120 GB iPod or enter in the new touch world. After having an iPad 2, I decided giving a shot to the new iPod 5 64 GB, due to the fact it is the largest one Apple has talking about touch devices. I'm loving it so far and it is very smooth as the iPad 2 is. But I can have all the music I want, of course It gives me a smaller window if we compare it with the Classic 120GB but it has converted me or turned me in a more selective person when talking about my music. I'm having real fun with this master piece and I recommend it to anyone likes to have a little computer-music device. Thanks to Best Buy for being the intermediary in between Apple and I. I have to give you part of the credit for my happiness just because that financing I got for 18 month was more than anything. Thanks,

Purchased the ipod 5 for my classroom and it's been great. I can take my music anywhere in the school and be in charge of my concerts with ease. Also has great apps, facetime, camera and more. Definitely worth it.

Like the new iPod camera picture taking is very nice connects to Nissan maximum car Bluetooth system no problem also to the wireless home system sounds great through the system like the smallness of the iPod for working out walking. Just hated that they did not get me the color I would like to have had which was black I was told it was not carried anymore.

I wanted this to be bluetooth compatible so that I could play it in my car. I got tired of cd's, so this filled that need / want. Synch-ing to bluetooth was virtually effortless, which was nice. The hardest part was getting music / audio books on the device. I suppose that this will become easier with use. I am not a big iTunes fan, so music transfer was a little tough for me. Product works fine - very happy. The 64GB iPod touch was a little too thin for my liking and I worried about inadvertently damaging it, so I bought a sleeve and I am much happier now. Battery lasts a nice long time too. I mainly bought this for the 64GB memory capacity, so the video and the camera don't mean much to me. The GPS (and maps), and the e-mail apps are nice.

Over the years I have had several MP3 players: 3 different second to third gen iPod mini's, a second gen iPod touch which was my main unit up until I purchased this fifth gen unit, and a slew of generic brand MP3's from makers like Coby. Most of the players I get are for work and are considered throw-away units, but for my personal I want something that is reliable and wont just stop working on me for no reason. My second gen iPod touch still works great, as do all of my iPod minis but I have been at the maximum storage for a long time now, and like having all my music in one collection so I finally broke down and bought myself a new 64GB model and have been loving it. Aside from having a lot of apps I don't use I am pleased with the features as well as the stand by and run time. I play a few games here and there and notice that they are much faster and more responsive. Overall I should have upgraded a long time ago, and am happy with my purchase. On a side note, I dropped the iPod yesterday and it come away without a scratch on it. Faring better than my phone from a similar height (sitting) on a harder surface (linoleum for the iPod, a floor mat for the phone).

This is my third iPod Touch, my second 64 GB size. I really enjoy having all my music and pictures with me. My main use, however , is to use it online to read blogs and look up information. It is a nice addition to my "dumb" phone. I also like having the built-in camera. I'm not a big user of apps, but I am pleased that so many are available.

I purchased this iPod after my last one got stolen after many years of faithful service. Being able to run the most recent apps is nice, and the new one has a nicer look and better form factor as well, except for the camera (which I find utterly irrelevant on a music player). It still has all the stupid junk on it that Apple always tries to push on people (Cover flow, for example), but the new abilities are great. I can park my car in front of my house, and it will automatically sync with my music library without having to unplug it, take it inside, plug it in, and sync. I dislike how they changed their cable format, but it still works fine with devices that control iPods through USB. Overall, it's a pretty good job.

I got the 64g model to replace my 32g which I had full of songs. I am happy as long as it worked as well as my original. The new generation is faster and has more features (most of which I have not explored). I don't use the apps or camera. I only use this model for the music storage. Being of a sleeker size, the case along with usb cord are different sizes and not compatable from the old generation to the new generation. Love it thus far.

As Ipods before expected to perform as any other would, had a 32gig before, needed the extra space because didn't take long to fill that up, so 3 years later decided to go with a this 64gig for my wife. The camera addition is a nice touch. As we any other Ipod external speakers are lacking.

Easy to setup and use. With iCloud it's simple to sync photos, notes, contacts, etc. between Macbook, iPad and iPod touch. iPod touch has the capabilities for running apps that iPad and iPhones have. It has plenty of storage for my music library with room to spare. It's size and portability make it convenient to have my music with me all the time, including in my car. I don't know why I waited so long to buy one.

Got this iPod for my mom after purchasing one for myself. She loves and takes it everywhere she goes since she doesn't have a smartphone. She likes to watch movies on it and play games and 64 gigs is plenty of storage for such a small device. She also loves the camera and uses it as her main shooter.

I was upgrading from a 2nd gen iPod Nano to the 5th gen iPod Touch because wanted a lot more music storage. I didn't expect to get all the extra features of the universe of apps available from the App Store. I love my new constant companion!
