Customers are saying

Customers find value in the iPod touch's storage capacity, music capabilities, and user-friendly interface. They appreciate the camera quality, portability, and the ability to use FaceTime, messenger, and Facebook. However, some users have concerns about the battery life and the size of the device. There are also a few complaints about compatibility issues with Windows 10 and the design being too similar to an iPhone.

I am one of those few people that hate downloading music on my phone so having an iPod is a must! I absolutely love the convience and innovation of this device. I purchased a 64gb and highly recommend

I would fill up the the 16 gb iPod in three minutes with Apple Music app. The app is amazing to use and the family plan covers 5 devices for the cost of one cd per month ... Plus if it's no good you can delete it. I have over 100 albums 4500 pictures and 450 videos and it's still has lots of space available. Plus with the find my friends app my kids can see where I am or text me without paying for a phone plan .

Having been holding onto my Ipod Touch 4th generation for dear life, since I got it not long before the 5th generation came out, I did not wait long to purchase this. While my 4th generation is still in great condition, except for battery life, some of my apps were not really functioning the greatest anymore. I definitely wanted to get my new Ipod Touch 6 from here, because the protection plan I find to be superior to Apple Care, which limits you to 2 incidents, and I think it is only within the first year. My 4th generation device didn't actually start having issues for over 2 years, and I would have been out of luck with Apple Care. I know some people are unhappy that the size specs etc are identical to the 5th generation, but I was very happy, because that meant I could order a new case and a new screen protector the day the new one was announced, even before the Ipod Touch got here, so they would be here waiting for it... to help keep it in pristine condition, in case a 7th generation one is either a long time coming or doesn't at all... heaven forbid! I don't need a cell phone plan, and buying an unlocked iphone just costs way too much. I began checking THAT about a year ago, when things were looking bleak for an Ipod Touch update. Given my situation, a bigger device, like the Ipad mini is too big for me to be able to carry. Since my case has a belt clip, I can baby that by fastening it clamped shut around my lanyard. The belt clips tend to snap on me if I put them on actual clothing, so I found another way. IOS 8.4 has some very handy changes from IOS 6.1, and the device runs very smoothly. I am already looking forward to a few new things coming from IOS 9. My son is happy too, because even though his is also 4th generation, it has had a rough life (though his battery is better than mine), and my old 4th generation will help tide him over until he is working and can get one of his own! Believe it, if you have still been hanging on to a 4th generation Ipod Touch or even older, I think now is the time to make the jump!

I've now owned every version of iPod Touch since introduced (which was an upgrade to my original iPod Video w/ the click wheel). I have not been disappointed whatsoever with ANY of those purchases, and I prefer using iPod Touch as my music player source rather then my mobile phone . . . because I do truly find the product to be that good. Although I now rarely use the camera or video functionalities, I tested them out on this 6th Gen model, and the results were highly satisfactory. I can feel comfortable knowing if I need to use that while listening to music (rather than grabbing my phone or a camera) the results will be very good. I'm not a techie person by nature, but I do think I'm qualified to make comparisons between models, and after reading reviews concerning the processor speed of this new generation being an improvement . . . I agree 100%. Product display at my local Best Buy was a bit doofus with outdated info and pictures being used. Salesperson wasn't fully aware of the product, but that wasn't a problem since I knew what I wanted. I chose the 64 gig model because of a large music library. I use a third party software program (xilisoft) to manage my content, and it was easy to get my new player up and running quickly. I can easily recommend this product to others, although I'm sure many/most will choose to not purchase since they can use a mobile phone instead. I just go with what I prefer.

I'm currently an owner of a second gen IPod... Still going strong, and use it every day in the car and at work.... but wanted more memory, a camera, more speed, and Siri... The 6th gen has it all. I'm very satisfied.. If this one lasts as long as the last one... It will be money well spent.

I used to have the 5th Generation iPod Touch and upgraded to this new 6th generation for more memory. What a difference between the 2 and I'm glad I made the upgrade. The camera is much better and the processing speed is very noticeable when downloading music, or using it online.

I had an ipod 4th generation and i loved it till all the updates started making it slower, then IOS 7 came out and my ipod wasn't compatible with that update so i wasn't able to download new games nor apps. So now i finally decided to buy a new ipod, this thing is really fast, games and apps look great. I love it. I only hope that in the next couple of years this new generation ipod will work on all the new IOS updates to come. I don't wanna have to be buying a new ipod every 3 years

I've had an iPod through most generations since the first, and the quality of each generation has only improved. As a personal music player, you really can't find any better. The current model is small and slim, making it easy to use for workouts, walks, or to just put in your pocket and listen to at work or at home. The sound quality is always excellent, and the touch screen makes for easy use. I don't use the apps much on this device because of its small size, but they work just as well here as they do on an iPad or iPhone. With the larger storage sizes, you can hold days worth of music, and the new Apple Music touches (next up, playback controls, etc.) make for great listening experiences. The device syncs easily with my home computer so that I can manage my iTunes library from the device or by computer and then sync any changes seamlessly between the two. Highly recommended!

I lost my previous Touch, otherwise I wouldn't have bought a new one. This generation's performance makes me almost grateful I had to buy another though! I love the low price for large storage and the improved speeds through the processor and memory. I have not tested this yet, but research indicates the cases for the 5th generation will fit.

i'm so grateful for this amazing tool which allows me to use wifi, access Facebook, look through emails, plus all the other things it can do...all in a pocket size. The front and back camera give good photos that I can quickly and send via email or post on Facebook with flawless ease! The one improvement I'd recommend is battery life, but otherwise it's amazing!

64gb memory is ideal. It has plenty of room for my music and it's easy to use. It's small so that extra piece is not a wear in your pocket

Great tertiary iOS device. After my iphone and my iPad i use this device the most. Every bit as smooth and fast as an iPhone 6, this new iPod touch is perfect for working outside with headphones, using while doing lawn work, or on the treadmill, or just using someplace you don't want to risk your iPhone.

I purchased the newest iPod for my husband. He previously had the iPod Classic for the last 7 years and loved it. This latest iPod touch model however is a dream. If you want just a straight MP3 player with tons of room for your music collection then this is the item for you. Nice small sleek design with quick access to the features you need the most. Its a worthwhile $300.00 investment!
