Customers have good things to say about the Lightning-to-3.5mm Headphone Adapter's compatibility, quality, ease of use, and compact size, frequently praising its seamless performance and build. However, some users expressed a desire for a built-in headphone jack and the ability to charge and listen simultaneously. Concerns were also raised regarding the adapter's design and the battery life of wireless headphones used with it. Overall, the positive feedback on functionality outweighs the negative comments on limitations.

Thsi little guy does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Since I got a new iphone and the way to connect it to my 2013 vehicle has changed. This Lil guy made connecting to my vehicle possible again, its also small and didn’t take up extra space. Flexible, reliable and iPhone compatible is a must, especially since my 13 model is not blue tooth ready and needs to be hooked up to my radio via cable....Enjoy!

This cord is exactly what I needed when I changed iphones. It is an adapter that allows me to use my wired headphones with my iphone XS. The quality is great and it has held up over the months. I bought the authentic Apple one so that I would not have to deal with wire shorts or unpredictable quality of other brands.

works well with my Sony and Skull Candy headphones. Sound comes out perfectly and clear using this. Since my iphone only has the lightning connector and not the 3.5mm port, The only thing I would change is to have an additional adapter on it so that I can charge the phone at the same time since I cannot listen and charge at the same time.

I'm able to use all my old wired headphones (including a Bose noise-cancelling) with this adapter for my iPhone 7. Necessary because of Apple's changes, but it works just fine. By the way, you can use the adapter with older iPhones and iPads. I taped it to the headphone, so I don't have to worry about losing it. Only negative is you can't listen and charge an iPhone 7 at the same time, but that hasn't been a problem for me.

Simple but can be a must have if you have a newer Apple phone. After all these years I’ve finally jumped ship and went Apple! Love it but quickly realized there is no common headphone jack. This adapter solved that prob perfectly. Still sucks you can’t charge the phone when this or wired Apple headphones are attached but I’m sure there’s a solution to that too.

My husband got a new iPhone when our toddler destroyed his screen on his previous phone. Without thinking, my husband then took a business trip, but realized he couldn't listen to the videos he'd downloaded on his phone during his flight because the new iPhones don't have headphone jacks any more. Immediately upon arrive, he made a b-line to the nearest Best Buy and purchased this jack, which was just what he needed. It's working beautifully. Thanks!

The adaptor is small and convenient to have as, when not in use can easily fit in your pants side pocket or a small compartment in your purse. It allows my Apple phone to receive the same quality functions.

I bought this to use with my iPhone, I have a 3.5mm input on a radio on one of our old cars, and also an old set of nice wired headphones I wanted to use with my iPhone. It works great. I prefer Apple brand accessories, they seem to last longer than knockoffs. I have had another one of these for a couple of years and it still is in good shape.

Required to power Bose noise cancelling or Sony XB700 headphones, with newest iPhone 7 and beyond. Corded high-end headphones & headsets outperform Bluetooth units. Enables you to avoid your sunk investment in such gear, from becoming obsolete.

If you are like me, and you love your apple products but prefer the old school Bose Headphones (I'm too cheap to buy wireless ones), you will definitely need this adaptor. It works great, it's small and can actually just remain on your headphone jack. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because I find it annoying and inconvenient that Apple put their consumers in this position, to begin with. If you do not have wireless headphones, you HAVE to have this adaptor. And if you have to have it, then you also know that you cannot charge your phone while using the headphones.

I got this because the headphone jack on my iPhone SE broke--it's a solid cable. One thing I like about it is that it becomes the point of strain for a pair of headphones plugged in, instead of the headphone cable itself. This cable is much cheaper to replace than a pair of headphones, so if you don't necessarily need one but worry about replacing headphones with crummy warranties, this is solid option.

Easy to use and durable! Since most new phones no longer have aux cord plug-in ports, this little gizmo is super handy to use your headphones and other deviced that still have cords

Easy fix. I didn't have to buy new speakers. Just plug this in and the headphone jack magically available to connect your speakers. Only downside is you cannot charge your phone while listening because the lightning port is taken by the adapter. It's a few inches long so doesn't get in the way, durable and flexible.

My kid got a new iPhone but doesn't have Bluetooth headphones and frankly, would just lose them and/or forget to charge them. This adapter has been a perfect solution! Cheaper than new headphones and doesn't require being charged. Exactly what I needed!

I was kind of nervous about buying this, because I had read reviews saying the microphone part of the Apple headphones doesn't work when you use the adapter... but that was incorrect. This adapter makes your old iPhone headphones work/function just like they always did on your old phone, and plugs into the new version of phones. Sound quality and voice quality are exactly the same.

I purchased the Sony Headphones from BB, and needed to find the correct cable to use on Ipad 7th Gen. This Adapter works perfectly just for Headphone use; however I do have to unplug and recharge if I use for a long flight. Overall, this is a recommended item.

Ever since Apple decided to remove the plug for head phones (ear-buds) from the iPhones (iPhone 7 & higher) I had issues. The main issue is that when you want to use wireless earbuds they need charging. The second issue is that after about 10 minutes my ears start to heart with ear-buds. I have wireless head sets, but to continuously charge them so that they are available when you need them is a pain. This item is a convenient inexpensive way to tackle the two issues above and if i lose the adapter cable it is not cost ridiculous to buy a new one. I have three of them because if you buy one, you will loose it. at least if you keep one in the house, one in the car or in a carry bag you know where they are. I have one tethered one to my favorite head set with a heavy duty elastic so that I can unplug it when I need to use the 3.5mm jack.

For those that want to continue using wired headphones/earbuds on newer iPhones that do not have the 3.5mm headphone jack, this adapter works great. I have a high quality wired earbuds that still work, and I still wanted to use them on a newer iPhone just purchased.
Only drawback is not able to charge the phone at the same time.
Apple makes another adapter that has a splitter to be able to charge the phone and plug in a headphone/earbuds at the same time, but costs more than twice the amount of this one.
