Great little dongle. Used in my truck with the aux cable.

This adapter works pretty well. I was looking for a way to connect my new iPhone to some older speakers and also a pair of hearing protection headphones that I occasionally wear when working in loud environments. The sound quality was good. Volume was good. However, it has lost the connection a few times, but if I unplug and plug it back in it works fine again. I’m glad I spent the extra couple bucks for the Apple brand, the knockoffs had some bad reviews.

I needed to connect my iphone to a speaker system at this hall, and they only had an option for composite/RCA. Fortunately, I was able to grab one of these quickly, along with my headphone to composite cord. Everything worked great and hopefully I will not lose this one.

Nice and easy to listen to my music on my iPhone. However it doesn’t submit a charge to your phone

This is easy to use and very handy to keep close to use when you need to charge your phone and listen to music at the same time.

With many airlines moving away from in-seat monitors, this accessory is a must have. On many recent flights, especially domestic, movies are streamed directly to yours device (iPhone, iPad, etc.); without this accessory you can't listen to the content using wired headphones or earbuds. However, I'd rather spend a few bucks on this and continue using my Bose noise-cancelling headphones than spend a few hundred on new, wireless noise-cancelling headphones.

While I would prefer to be able to just have a headphone jack, this adapter works perfectly and fits easily in my bag.

Works great. It’s basicallyv a iPhone to audio Jack. Works with my headphones and also adapts to the audio sound board at my local listener supported radio station enabling to play music off my phone.

Not rocket science, it does exactly what it is supposed to, allows me to use regular headphones. No loss of sound quality either that i can detect.

Apple has eliminated the pin plug on newer iPhones, If you're like me and own headphones and earbuds that are wired, you need this adapter to use them with with the most recent models of iPhones (and, I would assume, future models). Like all Apple products, they are of very high quality and work flawlessly. The adapter is very short and easy to lose. I recommend you keep it attached to a pair of headphones or earbuds to minimize the risk of misplacing it. Or store it in a place you know you'll be able to find it.

It's really useful. My case has a cover charger but it doesn't matter to this cable.

Say goodbye to not having anything to hear music/videos/lectures with. This is so helpful in those last minute moments where you need to hear something besides what's around you or not bother others and you have the old school earphones.

I just got an iPhone 8, an upgrade from the iPhone 6. In lieu of the headphone jack I was fond of on the iPhone 6, there was the lightning cable jack on the iPhone 8. I couldn’t listen to music or watch anything with the headphones I had, so I had to get wireless headphones. But then I read about this product, and I decided to buy it. I love it! It works! Those wireless headphones weren’t a waste, but this adapter made the traditional headphones have a new use.

It's always great to have a few extras so you can use any headphones with your iPhone.... this is small, sturdy, handy and the Apple brand.
