Need to to plug phone into speaker and it easy to pack in my bag to travel with works well

I used to have one, the one that came with my iPhone 7 back in the day. Family borrowed and never returned. So I had to dish out ten bucks for something that was complimentary in the past so I can use regular wired earbuds on my long, long walks because my AirPods can’t last as long. Do you know how hard it is to find a decent set of wired earbuds with a lightning connector? Thanks Apple, I can see now why revenues are up. A full 5-stars if the adapter was cheaper.

Works perfectly…exactly what I needed. Have some devices that take the old round peg shaped plug (my ipad and my really old iPad mini) and a couple of new ones (like my iPhone 8) that take the “new” flat shaped plug only and not the old one. This little adaptor allows me to use the same corded earplugs on all of my devices without having to look for other sets.

Well made. Short and does the job. Sound is not diminished.

This is an easy to use adapter for new iPhoneX. It does all that it’s expected to do. Just wish they weren’t so pricey.

Sometimes you need a wired headphone / microphone adapter, and there aren't very many options with built in lightning connectors. This works, and has worked with my cheap-o Sony earbuds and my more expensive headsets. It works and these generally last longer than the cheaper versions.

I am one of those who wasn't too happy or excited when Apple announced that they would be taking away the headphone jack. So now to listen to music in my older car (no bluetooth) this authentic apple Lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter was the best and cheapest solution I could find. It comes in the Apple packaging, works and feels just like the one that came with the phone.

Lightning adapter works securely, unlike many non-OEM counterparts, and no loss of quality or volume in audio.

For the product itself, it does what it's advertised to do. Connect a headphone or line-in jack into your iPhone. Why I only give it three stars is because removing the headphone jack in the first place is perhaps the worst idea Apple has ever come up with. Not only have other phone manufacturers not followed suit, but I'm ready to switch based on this idiotic concept alone. I own four cars--all with line-in cables or adapters to play music. I now need to make sure this 'dongle' is with me or have one for each car. Ridiculous design flaw. Apple--bring back the headphone jack!!!! Not everyone in the world operates sole on bluetooth!!

Long lasting, easy to use. Can be annoying, but is a necessity if you have a newer iPhone!

The device is small and easy to use and it works great for my iPhone. Simple, cheap and effective. Great purchase.

This was my only option to connect my old-fashioned earbuds to my iPhone. So in all honesty I would rather not pay $10 for that privilege but if I need to buy one I’m buying the official Apple product that I know works with no problems. So my recommendation is if you have old-school earbuds or headphones that you want to connect to your iPhone through the lightning port, this is the only way to go.

Amazing value. You can pay hundreds more for a DAC but this Apple designed device does the job. Enjoy Hi-Res lossless Apple Music with this and wired earphones.

Adapter works well for use with headphones. It's a shame apple got rid of head phone jack. However, the adapter works well

This Apple product is very useful, easy to use and fit my needs for all my needs with all my Apple products including my iPhone.

This adapter works like a charm. Bought one for my wife and one for me for our iphone 11’s which do not have a built in headphone jack. The adapter works like a charm with our wired ear phones when we don’t want to use the wireless buds which don’t fit our ears very well. Good sound quality!
