Attached to an old iPod to play in our older car. Since our car doesn't have an auxiliary jack we use an old AM/FM connector to hear music through the speakers.

For anyone that still has the old 30-pin iPhone cable this is needed to allow you to continually use that with an iPhone 5 or 6.

Very durable and worth the money. Don't buy the knockoffs, they do not last and have bad connectivity to other devices such as stereos.

It helps with devices in which I use 30 pin connector but my new Ipad air 2 is lightning pin. I would not be able to use otherwise.

bought to use in my infiniti that only came with the older adapter. however, if you're using a case, you need to take it off to maintain the proper connection.

Product works great but it will not fit through an Otter Box Defender Case. I had to return and use the other longer Apple cord.

tThe phone jack did what it suppose to do. The only problem was why did Apple have to change the pin number between Phone 5 and6.

The Apple adaptor works well with any docking station or any vehicle phone cord. None of the other adapters work as well. So this little gadget is worth the price.

Don't fall for a cheap generic on other sites, This is the real deal Apple OEM adapter, and of course it works great.

Works wonderful to convert your 30 pin to a lightning end in a compact size. Only drawback is the typical inflated Apple price.

This solved my problem with adapting my newer iPhone and iPod Plus to an older mini stereo for listening to music and audio books.
