This device successfully adapted the jack of my Bose system for my iPhone 5c. It allowed the music from my iPhone to be played through the system at a much better quality than the auxiliary jack. It also allowed my phone to be charged at the same time.

I wanted to connect my I-Pad Air to my stereo to listen to music using my old 30 pin connector with separate audio RCA style plugs. I couldn't find an aftermarket product, so I was "stuck" with the Apple product. It works, but it sure is very expensive.

We tried to buy two other non Apple converters so we could plug in my wife's iPhone into our Hyundai Tucson cable. Neither off brand worked so we bought the Apple version. It still slightly interferes with the iPhone case . May have to take case off to use.

Must have if you have older 30 pin products and newer lighting pin phone. Have used on older clock radio that is 30 pin so I can connect with my I Phone. Also my older Blood Pressure machine only accepts 30 pin and would have had to replace with out this little jewel.

I am attaching this product to the top of a clock . Produce seems to be working great. It makes the phone sit up kinda high when standing on base so it's a bit tall but it works . Seems to be recommended by many so I went on recommendations . Working fine.

When Apple changed its iPhone connector it rendered our Sony stereo unusable. We considered for many years of just buying a new stereo yet that is not always plausible on a tight budget. The Apple iPhone adapter to the rescue. This adapter works like a charm and it revived our stereo.

I would have rated it a 5 but was disappointed in how long it took to arrive. Item was shipped from upstate NY and went to a distribution center in Kentucky instead of to my residence in NY. Took over a week to arrive.

I love that Apple made this connector. It's so convienient! The products that I have sometimes only take the old iPhone chargers but with this I can connect it and make it the new one. I don't have to change all of my radios, speaker boxes of chargers because I got a new phone, thank you Apple!

transition from iPhone 5 to iPhone 6 left me with lots of cords and equipment made for my 5 but with this adapter I made the transition with ease. No need to go out and purchase all equipment like external speakers or chargers. Great Product!!!

Best part of this adapter was not having to buy new iHome products for the family when the new phones came out awhile back. Adding this to the old products allows everyone to use the radios, clocks... they have and love. Only downfall is that some protective cases do not work well with it.

This adapter is just what I needed for my new Gen6 iPod so that I could connect it to my speaker which had the "old" pin connection. It is unfortunate that with every Apple upgrade, it seems that a separate a purchase is needed so that the new hardware works with older accessories.

I bought this adapter to use with an iphone > A/V cable while we were on vacation so my toddler could watch videos on the hotel TV. For whatever reason, the TV would not pick up the A/V input so we didn't get any use out of the product.

When my iPod died a few years back I thought geez now my iPod radio was worthless. Not sure why kept it these last few years. I haven't been able to use it. Until they came out with this adapter now I can use my iPhone 5s and connected to my 30 pin radio. I love this adapter.

If you have a newer IPhone that doesn't work with the old plugs, this adapter makes a good transition, allowing new devices to be used with the old chargers. I did have trouble getting the adapter to work with older speaker systems.

I have an older Bose Soundock with the old type of connector for my IPod classic. When I got an iPhone 6 no need to buy a whole new Soundock -- this connectir will attach to older devices and work just fine. It's a lot cheaper and just as efficient to use one of the connectors.

Upon Apple switching to the lightening charger I had so many of the old chargers that were brand new. This adapter made it easy for me to keep my old chargers and use them on my new phone. It even worked with my charging mount that I use to play music. Good little investment!

If you still have some products with the "old" Apple 30-pin plug, yet also have products with the Lightning plug, this is a must-have. Other cheaper adapters aren't necessarily recognized, and this one is fool proof.

We have an Audi Q5 for which the MMI cable was utilizing the old iPod 30-pin connection. To replace it with an updated MMI cable utilizing the lightning connector was going to cost $80. Instead, I elected to use this. It worked flawlessly and we saved a good deal of money.

I wanted to use this for my older tower speakers. Ended up the lightning adapter was a bit short if you had a case on the phone. So you would need to remove the case just to use it, or it would fly out

I purchased this as an alternative to buying an expensive new plug in order to interface my new iPod touch with my existing vehicle interface cable which used the old 30 pin. Worked like a charm at the savings of $70 if I would have bought the new cable. #winning
