This little lightning to SD Camera Reader is the best gadget ever! With it, you can easily plug it into an IPad, IPod or IPhone, load your camera's SD card into the other end, download your photos and send them to your friends via email, Facebook, Twitter and a host of other media--Voila, just like that--no wi-fi needed! I've had one of these gems ever since my first generation IPad and then updated with a new lightning cable version when the IPad Air and Minis came on the scene. Have also given several for gifts already and bought two more recently to give as gifts as well. The only downfall is that this little device is limited to use only with Apple products. Highly recommended!

I use this for my iphone or ipad to get the SD cards out of my trail cameras. I can plug this unit in and then the SD card and see all my pictures right then! Perfect!

This card reader is great for reading our trail cameras in the woods. It's compact, plugs right into the phone, and you can save pics to your phone and delete from the memory card.

I use this SD reader to upload drone footage from my drone. Takes seconds to upload several 4K videos. Go to photos, insert the SD card, and within a couple seconds it asks if you’d like to download the photo/videos. You’re also able to select which file they go into. Once complete you can chose to delete the images from the SD and start taking more photos! As someone who puts together a lot of drone footage, I highly recommend this. It’ll save you a lot of headache.

Recently purchased a canon camera and I love that I can easily upload the images taken onto my cellphone device with this SD card reader. Would recommend to everyone who loves to post their picture to social media as they travel and capture images.

Works great every time! I bought a cheaper knockoff version to transfer my photos on my camera to my iPhone on Amazon that only worked when I wanted to. Got tired of wasting time and finally bought the real deal. The price is still relatively cheap and totally worth it. I save time and get my quality photos when I want them. Super easy to use, just plug in and select what you want to transfer. Transfers are pretty fast. Overall very happy with my purchase!

Works great with my iPad and the new ios13 Files System. I’m now able to watch movies and video files stored on my SD cards with this adaptor.

Cable was easy to install on the IPad and accepts SDcards along with Micro SD's with the SD adaptor.

Last year I decided to get rid of my home computer since I like to use my iPad in lieu of. With that, I have taken tons of pictures with my Nikon Camera and realized that I didn't have a way to download the pictures from the SD Card. After a little bit of research and some assistance from Best Buy I decided to purchase the Lightning to SD Card adapter. Once I plug the camera SD Card into the lightning adapter the pictures download immediately. Love that I can keep it with my iPad in my backpack camera bag so I can download pictures, email, text, or post on social media. Thanks Best Buy for the recommendation.

Typical Apple overpriced accessory I’ve been looking at this accessory for quite some time I just didn’t know if I really needed it while after I bought a drone I decided it was time. And I’m a lil upset I didn’t get it sooner it allows you to upload the videos or pictures of the specific memory card to your IOS device as simple as a few seconds it makes looking at the footage taken or pictures taken and editing them off your IOS device easy and simple with mobile PH LR and other tools now your able to edit on the spot and upload right away. Makes it easier then pulling out the MacBook Pro and having to do it that way also has it is the MacBook Pro don’t have a card reader anymore either so this makes it even simpler to to get it into the Apple ecosystem. My only other gripe is now I’ll have to buy the USB c version thanks Apple sometimes I wish Apple would not try to be so innovative and make s*** simple like adding memory cards to iPhones already what are in 2007 still.

Probably the easiest way to transfer photos and videos from your SD card equipped camera to your IPad or IPhone without going through all the hoops of using a computer or ITunes. Just plug it into your lightning port and it brings up your photo app to add photos or video. Simple!! I love it and it is small, easy to pack away. Much faster than wifi transfer from my Hero camera too!
