I wish it was cheaper but it did the job and got me connected to my Tv. Its cool to have the iPad on the big screen.

It is a simple VGA adapter for the iPad, iPhone devices that have a lightning adapter. It works exceptionally well out of the box. I've tried other tablet devices and there just seems to be a void in the VGA adapter world for most everything else. I use my iPad Air for lectures and the VGA adapter is a "must have" adapter for me. If needed, I can even charge my iPad Air while using the adapter. If you need to pair your iDevice with a VGA projector, there's really nothing else to consider. This works and it works flawlessly for me. The only downside, in my opinion, is the price. Since it appears to be the only player in this game that can get it right, Apple charges a premium for this simple adapter. It should cost half of what it does, but it doesn't. It's still worth having though. If it weren't for the price, I would rate it a solid 5 stars.

It works like I expect. Slightly inconvenienced that you have to connect a wall charger to it for it to work.

Purchased this to connect an Ipad to the tv via HDMI... worked great

I often use my iPad for business presentations, and this is the simplest tool I've used. It plug into the Lightning port, and the VGA plugs right into the adapter. There is also a slot on the adapter to charge the iPad so that it continues to charge/hold charge while connected. I have found no downside to this adapter. It is specifically for VGA output, so if you need HDMI you will need a different adapter or a converter which is also available. For the price this tool really can't be beat.

Nifty little gadget to have if you need to show a presentation that's on your iPad on a big screen tv.

I'll first state that this thing is pretty pricey. Sorry Apple, it's true. I'm sure this thing costs much less to manufacture. But if you need a VGA adapter for your iDevice, there's nothing better out there. I'd recommend you baby this device a bit (unfortunately my friend has one and after throwing it around for a year the sleeves started to pull back on the cable) a bit more than you would a regular lightning charger cable as those are much cheaper, but else relatively good quality and build.

Used Apple - Lightning-to-VGA Adapter and works as intended for the computer monitor. I am sure it's a nice one to have particularly for Elders who might not be able to read the small font letters. For others it's as good as connecting the phone and watching even movies on a big screen Monitors. The Image was as clear as what's seen on the phone screen. Not sure yet how it works for TV, was able to hear the sound, but no picture and wish to figure out what should be done...

In this day of more and more awesome technology, you never know when you are going to bring your iPad to a meeting where the projector is not very new. Not every projector has HDMI hook up, and an Apple TV box can sometime be unreliable. When you have to make sure you absolutely have fail-proof presentation capability from your iPad, this adapter is a must. I've used it more than any other adapter I have purchased. It works and it stays in my carrying case wherever I go!

Worked will for interfacing my pioneer heady it with iPhone. Seems expensive for what it does

This adapter does what's expected (sort of). It outputs the video of my iPad to my projector using a VGA cable. However, a lot of apps don't seem to support the functionality. For $50, make sure the apps you want to display are compatible before purchasing.

I needed a quick fix for a presentation when their system failed. Great little gadget.

This is a straight forward purchase and product need met easily by this adapter.

I bought this to use with an old projector, it worked for what I needed for.

It worked perfectly for me and it gives me more options for work.
