I use an older laptop and projector that still uses a VGA cable to connect. I upgraded my laptop to a I pad mini and I love it but I couldn't connect it to my projector to watch movies. This adapter makes it so I can and I love it. If you don't want to spend the money upgrading your equipment get this adapter, it's worth it.

I have a major presentation to make. I needed to hook my iPad up to a Epson projector. This little adapter did the trick and works flawlessly. I had all the photos on my iPad, light weight and easy to carry. Fits in my case, so I always have it when I travel. Well worth the price, for what it does.

I did LOTS of speaking engagements prior to CoVid. Always needed a reliable dongle and skeptical of using off brands. This dongle is perfect. Using it for over a year now with NO problems whatsoever.

The video projectors that I use are older. The primary video out port on these is VGA. This adapter makes these projectors relevant in this age of HDMI. I can stream content from my iphone or ipad. Great for presentations or movie night in the backyard!

I'm really glad they make these for my iPad. I use my iPad Pro to do guest speaker presentations at area schools. Since they all now have large LCD/LED screens in the classrooms it makes it so easy to display anything. It's saved me a lot of extra accessories to have to carry around.

I have always loved traveling with my mac air given the light weight. Only thing I missed was having conventional VGA connection with it. Made it ineligible for use in big presentations until I found this adapter. Works as expected and makes my Mac able to be used in presentations

The adapter works great. I did not have to do much in terms of setup. It was pretty much plug and play. So far, I have not experienced any problems with it, and expect that it will last a long time. Pictures are clear and stable.

Bought this to plug my iPad into my projector. Works great! Then I discovered I could also use it with my iPhone. Wow. A tufor. Love it I try to save money, but I know the quality will be there when I stay with the name-brand (Apple) product rather than a knock-off.

This adapter allows me to use the TV app on my iPhone and connect perfectly to an isolated computer screen in my office and in my screened in porch. It avoids having to purchase smaller more expensive flat screen TV’s for these areas.

This Apple lightning-to-VGA adaptor was exactly what I needed to plug my iPad Air 2 into my projector at school. It displays what I have on my tablet screen perfectly on to the screen. I would defintily not look to go for the "cheaper" version of this tool.

This product allows me to connect to my projector via a VGA connection. I purchased a similar 3rd party one that needed to powered in order to work. This one does not need external power to work. Just plug and play. Works great.

I purchase this lightening adapter so I can connect my iPad/iPhone to a projector so we can have movie nights. Easy to use and my kids love being able to watch their favorite movie on the big screen.

I made the mistake of buying a non-apple connector on line. I thought I didn't know how to get my iPad to project. At Best Buy the Apple guy told me that I needed the Apple connector, not the generic. I hooked it up and it worked great.

I have a video projector with VGA input that is several years old, and I wanted to plug my iPad Air 2 into it to stream YouTube. It worked perfectly. Bonus is that I can plug lightning connector into adapter to charge my iPad at the same time.

As would be expected from an Apple accessory, works exactly as described. If you need to connect your device to a display, this is your best bet. Don't go with off branded solution here, Apple device via Apple accessory is always the best bet.

I finally can now setup my iPad with an external monitor which will allow for a better viewing experience. The product works great but can be finicky once the iPad connection has been used for awhile.

Bought this to adapt my iPhone to my old iPod plug so I could play videos. Played music but no videos. If I would have known I wouldn’t have bought it. I gave 5 stars because the quality was good and the mistake was mine.
