The item works great with one exception. We purchased with the intention of hooking an iPad / iPhone up to an LCD projector for movie night. The problem is that purchased movies from the iTunes stores are not allowed to be displayed. As I researched this further it appears to be a copyright rule imposed by the studios. It's rather ridiculous as I'm not opening a for profit movie theater operated by an iOS device. So as long as you are not intending to project iTunes store movies, this should meet your needs, it mirrors the iOS screen nicely.

This does what I need it to do. Does a great job at that. Won't play Netflix, or HBO go. Not sure why, but everything works.

This VGA to lightning adapter is made by Apple so I fully expected this to be a well made product. It works just like advertised. I like that it has a secondary Lightning port so that you can still have the device on a charger while using the VGA output.

There's not much to say about a product that is simple to use and does what it is supposed to do. I'm using this to teach iPad classes for seniors, and the adapter makes it easy to connect to the projector. Apple accessories always seem to be well made.

just another adapter I had to get for Apple since they changed the connectors. now i have both 30pin and lightning adapters...

We go over game film with our basketball teams and have most of the video on our iPad. This is great because now we can attach our iPad to our projector and review game films without having to transfer to a laptop.

This was just the connection that I needed to allow me to project my iPad onto the smart board in my classroom. It is so much nicer being able to take my iPad to class rather than the laptop.

This thing is made by apple so what do you expect, it’s going to be great quality and work flawlessly. The cord works great and I think it is a must have if you need to display your iPad or phone a TV

I have an old projector that needs VGA, the adaptor works well, but dont forget to use the power cord. The iPad doesn’t produce enough output amperage to power the VGA signal by itself.

Does exactly what it supposed to. I bought this product to use at school. I knew it would take a lot of abuse and it is held up very well. I’m planning on getting a second one for my other school.

It works like a charm. I needed a new adapter when I bought my new mac the connections for my Citi tablet did not match and old adapter did not fit the new computer this adapter solved the problem.

I used the adapter on my iPad in the Philippines to run Powerpoint on a projector. The adapter worked flawlessly and allowed me to easily connect and disconnect the projector through the VGA adapter. I would heartily recommend this device.

Good device to allow iPhone or iPad projection to a screen using a VGA connector. Image quality appropriate for VGA graphics. iOS device can be charged simultaneously using the USB port connected to a wall outlet adapter.

I use my Lightning VGA at work , I connected it to a monitor at work at lunchtime and it works great , now I can watch movies at lunch. I also miss placed it for three days , and i cried for three days .

I think this is a awesome piece to my iphone wires. It's Built good quality and durable and I take it with me cause it has a lot of uses. Mirroring to a TV. Or using projector I never leave without this accessory.

This is good quality and at a fair price. It is something that I keep on hand for business meetings and presentations because several presentation rooms don’t have these connectors available.

This adaptor saved the show we had it set up on a computer and just could not get it linked to the projector, I mentioned to the AV person I had the PP on my iPad he hooked it up using the iPad and off we went

Hads to have this for a college technology class. This keeps my IPad charged while connecting to my SmartBoard for presentations! I will use it long after the class is over. This is a super connecting device.

We watch and present video clips and you tube videos to youth group and wanting to use to bring you tube music with lyrics to our church that doesn't have internet. Hook this to my phone, to projector and tahdah!

I found this to be a very good product as a professor. I teach my courses in the community and it's difficult to attach laptops to others equipment. Being able to use this with my iPhone makes my job much easier!
