    Apple makes you pay for every dongle known to man and this is no different. After repeated uses, the dongle will detach at times. Also, the output is 1080p and an internal limitation of not displaying to a 4K screen. Disappointing for a "market" leader.

    It plugged right up from my iPhone to the projector without any issues and conference call went on without a glitch. like most apple products it is as advertised.

    I travel a lot and don't want to lug around a big laptop all the time so I switched to an iPad and this adapter worked great for watching Netflix when I'm on the go. I have minimized my travel load a lot by switching to this method. Very recommended
