Perfect for the job I had intended for it. Great desktop computer.

Does what it says it will do! Solid little machine so far...no complaints fires up with speed, opens docs and handle email. Not asking it to render video or images or anything major, but a solid little administrative machine. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

This model is still relevant if you plan to add memory without having to shell out too much money. Using this for software development and don't have to reinstall software tools. Will use it until the M series become more mature.

Excellent Mac Mini Machine - only by this intel processor box if you want to upgrade your machine to full 64GB and take advantage of the power for this well priced mac machine. Heat issues are prominent for this Intel based else get the Apple silicon M1/M2 processors for a clean performance

I purchased this to replace an older Mac Mini that had 8GB of RAM that was not removable. This recent release from Mac does allow you to upgrade the RAM after the purchase and save a lot of $$. I increased the RAM to 32 GB and with the i5 processor is nice and fast!

This little machine is awesome. I'm a pc guy but man this computer is nice. We use it at church to use with pro presenter and our AV needs and it is perfect. Only downside is it runs a little hot and you will need adapters for for certain display outputs. Otherwise buy with confidence.

Powerful alternative to buying a macbook pro or macbook air. Set this up using a kvm with my work pc to share 3 monitors. No issues, works great. Did upgrade the RAM as it's easier and cheaper to buy from a 3rd party site and install yourself.

Bought the 512GB i5 as a nice midrange solution. Have connected 3 external drives totally 7TBs. 1TB ssd for photo libraries. 2TB ssd for time machine. 4TB RAID for old iTunes content. File transfers are fast. Not trying to drive a lot of graphics. Just want a place where all the iPhones and iPads can connect wirelessly for content. Struggled with removing video and pictures from almost full iPhones using PC. Transfer kept locking up and losing connection. Macmini transfers photos and video from same iPhone with ease.

The machine runs a bit hot after a 2 hour zoom meeting but handles everything very well. I upgraded to 32 g ram and the machine displays all 49 members of the zoom meeting.

Was on the fence between this and the M1 version. Still somewhat future proof with the ability to upgrade ram. Runs Finalcut Pro with ease.

I had been researching which was the best set up for doing video editing at the semi-pro level and the 2018 Mac Mini kept coming up as one the best machines to use for the price. The main reason that I purchased it was because it is still very easy to add more RAM and external GPU so as I continue to edit bigger and bigger project, I can expand this system fairly easily.

Extremely easy to setup and compact and light enough to mount on the back of our Television. We attached with Velcro

Still finding my way was always a windows user very different . I absolutely love this mini Mac so small yet very pieerfull

lifetime windows user but lately windows just isnt up to par so that being said going over to apple was much easier then i expected and this mac mini even though its only an 8th gen is it still runs just as quick as the pc i just returned which had an intel 10th gen i7 so to say that being this is a two year old processor is something and everything runs so much smoother on these apple macs ty apple

This Apple-mac mini Desktop-Intel Core i5-8GB was a replacement from an older model that needed replaced/updated, and remains a great product. It is reassuring having Best Buy carrying these great products for their customers!!

Good but can’t open more than 3 taps begin to slow.

This Mac Mini is the mid range Mac Mini offering. The new Apple silicon M1 model occupies the entry level and is a good value going into the future. This Intel processor model give you excellent compatibility with older applications, good speed and lots of fast SSD storage. The i7 model offers faster performance, but at a cost. Add the perfect size monitor for your needs, a keyboard and mouse and you are set to go.

I am happy with my purchase of the new Mac mini. It is virtually silent and functions great.
