My tech-oriented grandson recommended this. The only downside I have experienced is the quality of the sound.

The computer loads documents very fast. The internet loads fast also.

We love our Mac mini. It drives our 49" monitor and works great.

works great except when I play freecell, sometimes a little sluggish not sure if its computer.

Overpriced. Hot. Slow. Loud. Sounds like it’s going to blast off. The m1 puts this thing to shame on so many levels. Can’t believe Apple engineers were okay with releasing this thing.

Decent machine. Freshly booted it kept giving a green screen on wake. Known issue. A couple internet dives later I found a fix.

If you’re into spending 1,100 on a computer and have it exhibit blank screens at wake up/re-start from right out of the box, spend countless time with Apple support and still not find a remedy, then you my friend have found your future computer. I gave Apple the benefit of the doubt because I’ve never been wronged by them and in doing so I went over the return period, soooo that leaves me with absolutely sheer nothingness..shame on me for not just retuning it the same day. I had it right at two weeks when the HDMI port went out. After hours on hold with Best Buy, I never could reach a human, so I then went to Apple. They gave me a solution...which was to reset the SCM, but the means every time I want my monitor to work, I have to restart my computer to do this...so as soon as it goes to sleep, I have restart. I AM LESS THAN happy and now I have to take MORE time to try to return this or worse go without my main computer while I get this one repaired. And I still cannot reach anyone at Best Buy....so next resort it to show up in person. This just sucks.

low ram memory slow response conscience responding need more memory

Loved it but took it back as I heard Apple was doing their own chips. Intel is just in the dark ages.

This is the best Mac mini you can get in my opinion - looks and performance wise. while I’m sure the m1 chip Mac mini’s work fine i wanted it to be more seasoned when i bought this system. I knew the 6 core in this computer would be a tank and honestly i really wanted the space gray model. I ended up buying a refurbished one for a great price and have no complaints about this system at all. I am a pc gamer so just use the Mac for casual use however i had recently purchased a 2014 Mac mini and it was just too slow compared to my gaming pc that i knew i had to upgrade it. I also purchased the black Magic Mouse and keyboard to really set the aesthetic. (Apple if you’re reading this please release a black keyboard with the number pad). In terms of this system the SSD downloads quickly , i was able to upgrade the OS to Big Sur a lot faster than i thought. Depending on your usage i think the 8gb of Ram is perfectly fine for most tasks i haven’t noticed any issues with any casual tasks I’ve done. And if you’re in the market for a Mac already i always recommend the Mac mini’s over the iMacs they are so much better of a bang for your buck. I use this with a 34” gaming monitor and the picture still looks perfect. Also while i was messing around i plugged ina 3rd party keyboard and mouse (corsair) and they worked immediately with Mac OS. My buddy just bought a $2000 iMac for casual use and this Mac mini runs just as fast as his does. I also use a Corsair gaming headset on this Mac with no problems ICuE works good just fine on MacOS.

The computer started displaying issues less than a month after purchased, took to geek squad who told us that since a protection plan was purchased then they wouldn’t change it since it was defective

When I started to install the computer it still had the other Apple ID. And I had to returned.

Had to return and was supposed to be in on 6/11/20 and they still don’t have it !!!
