Maybe AI will benefit from more memory. For me, the base storage is satisfactory and I can add comparatively-inexpensive SSD if my needs change

Working with ostensibly compatible products hasn’t been as smooth as it was using the all-in-one solution that came with the MacBook. Will probably pass this off to family and return to a MacBook. That said it’s still an excellent value.

In practice, it’s mostly fine, however, the operating system isn’t what it used to be. Yes, there are new features and they mostly work fine, but many things just don’t. I find myself restarting the machine often just to get it functioning again. Hopefully an update one day will fix these issues.
