This gen mac mini is the best! Small and powerful yet efficient! Its perfect for my day to day light photo editing. Im also thinking of learning to build an app which I think the mac mini will be perfect l!

I bought it for my girlfriend as a gift, and she absolutely loves it. From how compact it is, and that she can still do what she wants to do on it, from surfing the web to video editing, she says it really is amazing.

This is quite possibly one of the best tech purchases of the decade. If you already have a monitor, keyboard, and mouse the pricing on this is unbelievable to a younger me. OSX is amazing on the M platform, and 16GB of RAM base is sufficient for most home users. While the 256GB seems low, with all of the cloud storage providers I don't see filling up the storage quickly here.

First I got this on sale at Best Buy with my Best Buy Plus membership for $499 - sweet! I'm not a power user, just your average guy. I don't do video editing, music production, or gaming to any serious degree but pretty much everything else. This little thing rocks. I'm coming from years of PC experience both from light IT work to heavy office usage. I don't much care about being bullied by Microsoft into Windows 11 and figured if I had to learn a new GUI may as well go all in on Mac. I have used Mac for some music editing and production but not as my primary computer. Has there been a learning curve, oh yeah, but it's been relatively painless and I have found customizations to make it a bit more Windows like, but hey I chose to go away from Windows so I haven't changed anything, just learned Mac. As far as the machine itself is concerned my wife was gobsmacked to learn that this little box was all my gargantuan desktop was and more. It's compact, quiet, boots quickly what more can I say. The only downside if there is one is the lack of USB A ports, even some USB 3.0 devices use the USB A form, but an adapter takes care of it. Just means your desktop is a bit more cluttered, particularly if you hook up a USB A hub for your other peripherals. I am a tinkerer and loved to replace and upgrade my PCs, not so this little guy, there is nothing user accessible, but hey I'm ok with that as it's spec'd for what I need. If I need more than this on a budget then it's definitely going to have to be filled with a PC as Mac gets stupid expensive for RAM and storage upgrades. Having said that am I nervous about storage, 256 gb - not really as external storage is cheap and with Thunderbolt danged near as fast as internal storage at least for most uses. I have loaded all I need to load to include some music editing software, etc., and I haven't used half of the storage and don't see ever running out. I use an external drive for backups and file storage. Us old computer users who grew up with miniscule hard drives are used to keeping things decluttered and neat. I have also learned through hard knocks that it's always best to keep things backed up on an external drive, Do I recommend it, you bet. If something happened to it I would certainly replace it with another just like it.

Very powerful little computer. I was coming from a 10 year old Windows laptop and needed a big upgrade. The M4 processor is blazing fast and you can run many programs at the same time with the 16GB of RAM. Unless you are into graphic design, or something extremely intensive this computer will work for just about everyone. The price is a steal for what you’re getting performance wise.

It's been about a month I've had this, I am loving it so far and I am a first time mac owner from purchasing this device. It's packed with a lot of power for it to be so small and I love the fact that it is great with portability to pack it up and take it wherever. I still have more to experience with it but so far I am happy with it.

This iMac mini is flawless. Super fast! Easy to set up & has plenty of power to do whatever you want. The re-design is awesome too! Can't ask for more for the price. This is my second unit & will enjoy both very much. Don't hesitate to buy....you will love it too!!

I love my new Mac Mini and how it pairs with my Mac Studio Desktop. It doesn’t take up much space on my desk and it allows me to get multiple projects done at a high speed!

This is my 4th Mac mini, and by far the best Mac desktop for consumers. It's really fast in using all of my apps. It renders photos so much better and faster than previous models. The 16gb memory really makes a difference. I'm so glad that Apple finally made this amount of memory for the basic mini. The mini really works great for me.

What sums up this new generation of mac mini is form factor Design style speed and functionality. M4 chip power and 16gb ram with small footprint. But be sure to have a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse since it doesnt have any usb A ports for most dongle accessories and prepherials

Small size but powerful for all my needs. Connects easily to monitor with provided thunderbolt C cable or an HDMI cable. Has USB C ports for keyboard and mouse or go Wireless. If you have USB A devices, you can buy a adapter at Best Buy. My mini was assembled in Vietnam, so the tariffs may not be high as China.

I'm a long term Microsoft fan, Linux developer, and for a short time Apple consumer. The M4 Mac Mini (Base model in my case), is one of the most exceptional products I have ever had the privilege of using. Goodbye Windows 11 (24H2 has been a disaster). The performance and ease of use with this new Mac Mini is unparalleled in my personal and professional opinion. It just works. I have never been a mac guy, but my wife got me to try the iphone. Since then i have moved from samsung on the tablet (ipad air) and on the family pc i purchased this. Its small and powerful and does wverything the family needs.

It is a great and easy to use Desktop. Very fast and very simple to setup. The only thing you need to really watch out for is the monitor. Without a high end monitor all the text is blurry.

I absolutely love this Mac mini M4. Its small its fast and it runs great. Im actually coming over from a windows computer and have zero regrets so far. I mainly use it for Pro Tools and it blows my windows computer away. I highly recommend for the price.

This thing is tiny and filled with power! I was able to run Valheim on 4K High Quality at a decent frame rate. 4K Gaming on a base model is unheard of. Love how it doesn't have a brick (and it still remains the size a little bigger than an Apple TV).

This little computer is fantastic! It has run everything super smoothly, and has been solid on all fronts. It’s plenty fast and can run just about anything you can throw at it. The storage is a little low in my opinion, but I expanded my storage with an external ssd and it worked like a charm! There are some great YouTube tutorials on how to do it. This is definitely worth the price!
