New Apple M1 Studio computer Sonoma glitches

Which is too bad I love the size and fast performance. We spend half our time trying to fix the software glitches with tech support. A new computer should be a pleasant experience, this has been the opposite. What happened to Apple they used to be so good. Hoping I can still return it and switch back to windows.

A little device that does a lot!

It works as advertised and doesn't take up very much space. After you add the required peripherals, the gained space is pretty well used up. I am very glad I got it, though. I would do it again.

Great Replacement of an older Mac Mini

Impressive Little Computer

Great for Media Server

Very impressed with the H.265 hardware video encoding on the M2 chip. Easily the best trade-off of video encoding quality/time/file size I’ve used yet. Better video quality and smaller file size than Nvidia. Similar quality/size to x265 but projects take maybe an hour and a half for 4K compared to 4 days or so using x265.

Apple on a Budget
