    Surpised to finally return this item, and advise low expectations for attempts to convert from Windows. Even with great Geek support, we put in 15 hours (half that in repeat trips) over a week to no useful result. No Home screen except when a Geek tech was standing over it, no mouse of keyboard commands at home...all despite great care with correct wiring. A dumb box. No one can explain this glitchy outcome, and Apple Tech Support was embarassing (5 Advisors, none much use) Stuck with Windows, but still likeApple phones and ipads.

    I bought two of these.. one failed after less than a year: won't start at all, no chime, no lights, just dead. In two days, I am allowed to take it into a repair center, via appointment only. It was on a surge-protected power strip.. other devices on that power strip still work.
