Hands down the best desktop computer I have ever owned. I am a little newer to the Apple ecosystem, and have had a MacBook Air for about a year. I wanted something with a little more horsepower than the Air, but didn’t want to break the bank. For the cost, there is nothing higher quality than Apple products.

If all you need is a basic apple computer that allows you to open documents and surf the web this is the perfect solution. Much better to go with the Mac mini and an external monitor than getting with an all-in-one (better value, less to go wrong, larger display options) . Purchased for a retired parent who could not be happier with it. While it is nowhere near as powerful as a $4000 MacBook Pro, for basic tasks it is all you need and +90% of people won’t be able to tell the difference.

It’s my first macOS product. for starters, it’s super affordable as far as macs go. clean, simple, and smooth interface as apple is known for and really the main thing that attracted me to switch. that and the apple ecosystem as already had an iphone, airpods, and ipad. my main gripe is it doesn’t give you the same autonomy when it comes setting up your screen with multiple windows, it feels rigid compared to a pc but i’ve also been using windows for 2 decades so my workflow is tuned for it and with time i’ll adapt to the mac os. note: i use it very casually as a personal computer for work so reading articles, affinity publisher, planning and other documents. but also i have ableton and it has sufficient power for music production.

I have been a computer geek since the days of the IBM XT and the Mac G3, and I have known and serviced almost every computer make known to man lol, and I purchased this Mac Mini on sale at Best Buy on sale for 499.00. This is bar none the best purchase that I have ever made for 499.00 for a computer. This M2 mini is outstanding and Apple hit the jackpot with this M2 chipset. It is absolutely flawless in its ability to operate and process programs and web. Lightning fast to put it mildly. I can’t find any cons. Even with 8gb of ram it is a racehorse. I upgraded right away to MacOs Sonoma, which is fantastic and Apple’s best software upgrade in a long long time. Don’t fret over the SSD space that it comes with, just go buy a dock made to fit the mini, that Best Buy sells, and it has the NVME SSD Connection inside of the dock to add a one or more terrabytes of drive space, plus the dock gives you alot more USB ports and an extra HDMI connection up to 8K. Yall for price of this Mac Mini, you get a workhorse computer, and BTW Parallels desktop runs Windows 11 flawlessly and Steam games too. Apple did everything right with this machine.

Had an older Mac Pro, got real slow so I got the Mac mini what a difference . fast small and easy to install

I originally purchased this for my daughter who is 8. She needed something to write out word documents, and browse the web on in her free time. It integrated beautifully with my phone, ipad, and her ipad. I can set “screentime” controls for her from my phone and ensure she is on task and studying! This thing is beyond fast and has not slowed down once for power point,word, web browsing, and videos! It even has mini built in speakers! Above and beyond amazing! Its also easy to find a space for! Its so tiny!!

This little M2 Mac Mini is all you need. I am a photographer and picked up the base model as a photo editing computer and it does the job and then some. The 8gb of ram is no where near a hinderance. I am able to run Lightroom classics AI denoise while watching a 4k youtube video with no interruptions and the denoise only taking between 45-60 seconds. My old editing rig took 7 minutes and turned the pc into a slideshow. I cant recommend this computer enough.

This unit is awesome, sleek , and powerful. I love it for my budget and it works perfect for my video and office purposes.

Outstanding performance from this new Mac mini. I am delighted I purchased it. It replaced one that I bought nine years ago and the performance difference is amazing to behold. I wholeheartedly recommend this one.

Bought the mini when it went on sale. It was easy set up and has been working well, the small footprint is great as well as the included ports. It is my first mac computer and its been a learning curve but the machine runs smoothly and quietly. The speaker isn't very loud but works just fine as long as your not expecting booming sound from a tiny computer. So far so good.

The Mac mini M2 is a great desktop computer. I ended up switching to the 512 gb version because I read online that the 512 gb SSD is faster than the 256 gb. The M2 chip is great and the desktop runs everything I have thrown at it so far. It is portable enough that I move it between my office and my living room TV so that we can watch home videos and pictures.

This desktop is amazing. Superfast and super quiet. Big step up from my previous Mac mini from 4 years ago. Very easy to install and set up. Everything synced from my previous desktop very unlike open does experience. No junk software. And best my staff were very helpful in making the choice.

For a small computer the Mac Mini M2 has a lot of zip for the value. I have a MacBook Air M1 and this is just a little quicker. If it’s because it’s new or the M2vM1 I don’t know. This one was to replace my father’s iMac and wow there is there a huge difference. I need one for my office computer and I might just do another. The simplest to set up if you are already in the Apple ecosystem.

This is a fantastic device! It's very fast and snappy. If you are looking for a computer to do the daily activities like email, web surfing and watching streaming services, this is an awesome option. you will need a monitor, mouse and keyboard but if you already have them from an older setup your golden! I paired this with the Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad from Apple to give it that certain pop. I love this Mac and should be a great machine for least 5 yrs. Can't say enough great things about this machine!!

the setup was very easy right out the box. it paired very well with all my other apple devices. the price was more in my range for an apple product. if you are on the fence about buying one, I recommend you go ahead and get it. I was able to use my own monitor, keyboard and mouse and that saved money rather than buying a whole iMac. I do not have any complaints about it. it is a great beginners personal computer.

Best Bang for you buck as far as PC goes, Super powerful, May upgrade to more ram in the future but the M2 chips is a beast.

Excellent choice for our small veterinary practice. Sad to say Apple puts upgrade limits on these so when we needed to upgrade our 2013 model we couldn’t which then led to other issues. It still works great so it is a sad testament to Apples business practices they do this. OTOH this is a nice little computer for our Drs to use.

Very cool! I like! It does the job and more! Very fast! It’s my first time using a Mac in 20+ years!

Works as it should. 4 stars for price especially for their price for upgraded ram and storage. I was able to add extra storage for over 1/2 the price of Apple. Also added an additional base/platform foe the extra storage & extra ports (A Must Have). Able to pick my own monitor at 1/10 of the cost of the Apple monitor. A learning curve from an out od date IMac all in one. Bought it on Best Buy sales days which drops price buy $100.
