I was leery about a mini...but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was worried about buying a mac mini after talking with other users and hearing that the mini was unable to keep up and I would be frustrated with the spinning rainbow wheel. I'm happy that the associate talked me into spending a little more and upgrading to the faster processor. I've ran a number of games and software and I've experienced very little lag or spinning wheels. Loading garage band took a bit longer than I'd like, but it wasn't anything too painful. Playing pinball with this unit was very good with no lag or freezing. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Great little desktop, takes up very little room

small footprint, works just fine

She had a 2011 model that almost survived way too many Geek Squad visits, so here we are. Why good? It runs that nice 26" monitor we have, the wireless trackpad and wireless keyboard. Why not so good? Setup on Sierra was a pain, plus lots of time and false starts resetting of programs/stuff, porting over bookmarks, photos, yuck. But I haven't heard one complaint now in the last 3 weeks, so I think we're over the hump. Yay.

Apple Mac Mini

This Mac Mini sits right next to my 2008 Mac Mini and is now my main computer with the old one as a target disk. Its syncs with my iPhone 6+ and iPad seamlessly.
