excellent product for price and performance, almost like a mac book pro, for a price of almost a tablet.

Had it less than a week but so far it has been great. Its amazing how small the mac mini is! Having such a small form factor really helps to non clutter the desk or wherever you have it setup. We really like the all in one package you get with a mac mini, just plug it into a monitor and you are all ready to go! As par for the course with Apple products, you are getting a product that will just work like its supposed to and easy to navigate.

this is a great buy for anyone wanting a mac that has a limited budget. was fast and simple to set up.

I like the small size. Haven't had any problems. Speed is great compared to my 9-yr old Mac Book Pro.

Great for travel. Use the 1tb memory to store your favorite movies and photos. Just plug in hdmi to a tv and grab your wireless keyboard and your ready to go to work or play.

Not as fast as SSD hard drive but great storage and performance. So far meets all other expectations.

New to MAC, so am fairly clueless about this product software. There are virtually no tutorials, so you are on your own. Switching from a lifetime on a PC is not easy... That being said, this seems to be what it is supposed to be.

Once you get over the computer looking like a plate warmer, everything will go smooth. The hardest part about apple is that there is no Microsoft publisher for it and that it doesn't seem to have the nice print options for a Toshiba printer/copy machine. (But I still have to learn more on that).

There were three things about my Mac Mini that met or exceeded my expectations: 1. Price. This is one of the few machines for under $500 that included an I5 processor and 8 gigs of ram. Though my Mini is refurbished, there were no obvious scratches/blemishes on the case. This is a 2014 machine, but still came with the latest operating system (Sierra). 2. Functionality. As with most Mini's the hardware includes 1 HDMI, 1 Thunderbolt, and 4 USB ports. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are included as well. Nice, but totally as expected. 3. Easy Setup. Keyboard and Mouse setup were a signature Apple breeze (5 minutes) and Wi-Fi (another 2 minutes). Then, I plugged her into my Plugable docking station, downloaded and installed the driver, and was up and running on dual Dell 1920 x 1080 monitors, all in under 30 minutes. Awesome! Disappointments: 1. Upgrade Hostile. The RAM is soldered in! What the... Typical Apple. You get what you pay for and no more... EVER! Upgrading the hard drive is extremely difficult and adding an SSD someday simply isn't supported. 2. Design. While the box is pretty in a utilitarian sort of way, the ports and on/off switch are all in the back of the machine. This means turning the Mini on and connecting/disconnecting devices has to be done using Braille or by rotating the machine at least 90 degrees in order to see what you're doing back there. Pain in the Posterior! Overall, this Mini is a good value and will serve my family well for a few years. It meets my needs as a media server and as a backup to my MacBook Pro for the near future and maybe even longer.

The new mac mini is amazing the only down fall in my eyes is that it doesn't load discs anymore something to get use to. That is downloading everything from internet. But overall love my mac!!!

The Mac Mini has been a wonderful computer so far. When using editing programs you may experience a slight slow down, other than that it's fantastic. You can't beat it for the price either.

This is great alternative to a full blown mac laptop. All you need is a inexpensive keyboard and mouse and monitor. Recommend the Logitech k400 or k400 plus. This is a USB small keyboard and mouse pad combo for $29.99 at best buy. You can use your existing monitor with another pc if it has dual connection. One conection can go to VGA on exsisting PC and Mac mini can go to HDMI if monitor has this connection. This saves a lot of space.

Nice to have an alternative to a boring desktop. Quiet, small, and lot of nice compatibility features if using Apple router and iPhones. I have never used an apple desktop but this is intuitive and easy to figure out on your own. I was expecting to purchase a new Windows desktop but really wanted something different and wasn't aware of this until sales person mentioned. I fell in love the minute I saw it and have not been disappointed.

I have been a faithful apple user for many years because they manufacture quality long lasting products that are also esthetically pleasing.

The mac mini is super small but it is a little powerhouse. Works great for all my work projects.

I have had an IMAC for 8 years. The MAC MINI is over $500.00 less than an IMAC. You need a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

I've been a Mac user for 25 years. I currently have a Mac Book Pro, Mac Pro, iPad, iPod, iPhone, and now a Mac Mini. The price and availability of this model through Best Buy was the type of deal I was waiting to find. I will now use the Mini as my main machine and use my MacBook Pro as my traveling machine. I've been a customer of BestBuy for many years and with rare exceptions I have found there staff helpful in all venues.

I purchased this to replace my previous Mac Mini purchased in 2010. Moving my data from the old machine to the new one was simple and the new machine works just as I had expected.
