Mac mini would not load operating system. Logitec camera and screen were not compatible. Stressful period trying to work with Logitec and Apple to get it working. Returned all items and bought an hp laptop.

I am using this unit to control my digital music collection & it works very well. I use it with a large TV a a monitor & use the Magic Mouse & keyboard for input. My only reason for not giving this product a 5 star rating is because this design does not allow me to upgrade the memory. Apple requires me to buy the next model up to get more memory even though I don't need the larger hard drive or faster processor. The earlier models that did allow customization, are no longer supported by Apple & may not work with the latest Mac OS.

I bought the Mac mini specifically to utilize as a home server. My only regret is that it does not come with a SSD drive. The included HD is a bit slow. Other than that, this is a great computer to use as a home server. I have connected a couple of external drives to it to increase the total space available and have copied all of my files to those drives. I'm now able to access any of my files (music, movies, etc.) from all of my other devices no matter where I'm at. This is definitely a computer you should consider if you are looking to setup a home server.

Great product for cost and my needs, fast, small and meet my needs.

I am using this with my TV in my living room to listen to music and watch movies online. Hook it up with wireless kb/mouse and you are good to go. the only bad thing is a little slower than my retina iMac which is a lot more expensive than this mac mini.

Get computer for the price. Small,compact, and easy to use. This is my 2nd one.

I wanted a mac and already had a nice 27" screen. So this is perfect to house all my photos, music and movies as well as use as a home computer. I do notice it is a little sluggish and if I upgrade anything sooner than later, it will to a SSD drive.

I love my Mac mini. Its small & convenient. I purchased this because I wanted a desktop Mac but didn't want to pay the high price. I got the Mac mini with a different monitor and I'm satisfied.

This small computer is fast. Its easy to set up and I love it.

Mine is connected to my tv and it has really changed my home entertainment center. Having a tv connected to your tv is a great way to eliminate having an office

This Mac mini provides excellent performance in an extreemely compact package.

I bought this Mac Mini to replace a five year old Mini whose hard drive was failing. Programs load much faster now, and while it won't break any speed records, it has all the speed I need for Lightroom and Photoshop, both of which are processor-intensive. Lots of storage space on the 1 TB internal drive. I'm happy with my purchase decision.

I absolulety love my Mac Mini. I almost didn't purchase it because of all the negative reviews I seen. It's my first Apple computer but it won't be my last!!

bought this to play my FCP masters on my TV from a hard drive instead of a BLU-ray and the results are fantastic..best way to view my video projects for sure..

Excellent speed..RAM size is perfect for at home use and working from home. This is a quality product all around.

I know that for most of us, a computer is a daily use tool, mostly reserved for browser use and some photo and music applications. But the fact that you can have the fullness of the Mac experience for such an affordable and compact package really make me wonder why more people don't take advantage of this. I already owned the Chromebox from Google and a very nice monitor, so the ability to seamlessly switch between the two on the same screen makes this purchase a no-brainer. You'll never want for speed or picture clarity, and it looks minimalistic and beautiful on my desk.

Using this as email server and do not need a full-sized box. Reliable. Saves on space, configured with with SSD as primary and 2TB as backup.

The Mac mini is lightweight, easy to hook up, and gives you the same power of an iMac. It's more stable and powerful than a laptop, but has the same portability if you have a monitor in you most used places (i.e. home and work). I never have to worry about what computer I have stored documents or work in progress - everything is in one place.

Easy to setup. Handy to have 4 USB ports. Compact and powerful.
