Vary easy to understand and use. Intuitive. Does not freeze like a PC. Apparently are easily available and are excellent. Maintenance is very low as compared to the PCs. Compact size makes it easy to locate on your desk or table. Apple accessories such as the wireless keyboard and magic Moises are excellent and enhance the experience!

great mac for it's size has enough storage for my mp3's

We needed a small computer to play slide shows and also mirror laptop screens for presentations. This mini works as needed.

It took a while to get used to switching from an HP, but I’m glad I did! I love my Mac!

I have used Mac laptops for years and have been using a MacBook Air for business. I was having a little trouble with it running two large monitors at my office so I bought the Mac Mini to use at the office. I mirrored it to my AirBook and it works great. The additional ports allow me to run the extra monitor without any problems.

I needed to replace my early 2011 MacBook Pro due to a video chip issue that Apple had in that year. Not wanting to spend a lot of money and still stay with a Mac I decided to buy the Mac Mini. It seems to be acceptable although it is the 2014 release and has been updated recently with newer models. Now I have been wondering if I should have spent the additional $400.00 and bought the 6 core 2018 Mac Mini. They are with noticeable faster.

Coming from a MacBook Pro Retina 16gb ram, 500gb on board memory, this version Mac Mini was just too slow for me. I love the compact size, that was great especially with not having much desk space. For an average user I think it would be fine but if you're a heavy multi-tasker I don't suggest this. They make bigger versions with solid state drives and more ram but this particular model just wasn't for me.

Small but powerful computer, and it fit in smalls places.

It is a MAC. This machine runs smooth. No complaints sonfar.

I bought this after selling my 2011 Mac mini. Paid a few hundred for this, as they hold there value. On with the pros: this models cpu is dual core that is HYPERTHREADED, meaning it can act synthetically like a quad. I noticed in system monitor under cpu "4" processor monitors. Unlike a quad core which would show "8" processor monitors. The ram is adequate is does load a lot of apps programming into memory since its a spinning drive. So 8gb is bare minimum I'd recommended. I ran several, benchmarks comparing 2012 and 2013 MacBook pro' retinas short and simple this is faster overall according to a sun spider score of 138 in safari on the mac mini 2014 2.6ghz. Cons Yosemite has glitches and bugs as of November 1st 2014. Best Buy doesn't sell the ssd version which would basically increase app/startup times because the faster solid-state drive. However, be prepared to pay over 1k for that luxury. Also, carefully decided on your requirements out of this device, as your initial purchase the mini now soldiers its RAM onto the motherboard, and your hard drive its surgical to replace from what I've read. Bummer with the very limited aftermarket/upgrade options without tearing the whole system apart (harddriveonly) remember as Ram is soldered onboard. i'm overall impressed with the performance of a regular hard drive that's all that Best Buy offers coming from 99% of my machines using solid-state disk the wait time isn't that bad. If they offered the $1000 version I would've definitely got it which includes a hybrid 128gb ssd drive with a normal drive. I read all the reviews on this site and have to say negative reviews were from no one who actually had units in their hands performing tests before making assumptions. I give it a solid thumbs up, I just wish Best Buy would offer the higher end model. If you're on the fence try it before you buy it, I feel its worth it. If you're on the fence about hard drive speed being an issue i find it is sufficient, although ssd would def be better. Also note that this model does output 4k to the TV/monitor if you have a 4K TV/monitor. Try it before saying it's terrible trust me.
