We had to return the apple computer to Best Buy. We then purchased an apple lap top and are very happy with it.

i use windows vista on desktop and windows 10 preview on my toshiba laptop,i figured since i have used iPhone for many years and loved it,i wanted to try the mac.since i did not want to have more items all over my desk,i went for mac-mini.my pc and mac share same monitor and wireless keyboard and mouse.there is a learning curve going from windows to mac os,but enjoying learning new things each day about this system.just make sure you have all the wires needed to hook mac-mini up to your monitor(dvi,vga,hdmi)wires do not come with mac-mini.if you want to try a mac,but do not want to spend a lot of money,mac-mini is the way to go.

This is my 50th Mac and it a must. Yosemite runs quick and I have not had any issues with it. I mainly use it for photo editing, photo storage, and a few games. The form factor is excellent as I can put it in my living room and with a wireless mouse and keyboard - compute from my couch while the display is op on my 32" Samsung LCD TV. A+

Totally disappointed with this product as it caused problems with my Wi-Fi.

When my MacBook Pro died, all I could afford to buy to replace it was the mini - I admit I was scared it would suck. I am pleased to say that it does not suck, and runs everything just fine! The few online games I play (WoW, Rift, GuildWars2) run well, nice and zippy. it's a great little workhorse. It does take longer than I'd like to boot up, and open programs, but that's not a big deal. For the price, I couldn't be happier!

I've never operated a slower computer; at least since the 1980s.

Price is good for an Apple desktop. As the review says this is still the world's most power-efficient desktop. My only complaint is that the memory is not upgradeable. I will enhance the performance of this model with a Solid State Hard drive in the future.

I have been an Apple user for almost a decade. My last desktop was the iMac 2006 however due to the screen having a malfunction I wanted the Apple OS, but did not want the hassle of having a combo display of an iMac. I decided on the mac mini as it is a compact device and I get to customize the hardware while I get the most important thing which is Apple OS experience i.e. the brains of the machine.

I just bought my very first Mac Mini, and I absolutely love it! I go to school for Computer Network Operations, so I am most familiar with Windows. Not only does this computer give me the ability to run Windows, I have a Native Mac OS instead of a "Hackintosh" version for PC. Plus, I can run Linux all on one machine! The user interface is so much easier and cleaner looking than Windows, not to mention security is a big feature and selling point for me. The Mac OS is built around BSD Unix... a very stable Operating System with great security! I love how the Mac work directly with my iPhone, and my iPad. I won't go back to PC.. I am not sorry. I would and already have recommended this product to friends and family! If you are thinking about buying a Mac, and are not sure... go in and talk to the Apple Specialist in Best Buy! It is definitely worth it, and you will be happy with your purchase!

Made the switch from PC and definitely won't be looking back. Very simple to use and the learning curve was not that long. If your tired of corrupt PC's and web pages that take a minute or two to load up, give the Mac a look. Very happy with purchase. Also bought a trackpad to compliment it and like it much better than a mouse. I would also recommend getting a minimum of 8GB ram (the 699.00 model).

This Mac Mini replaces our 8-year old iMac, which was starting to show its age. We needed a computer that I could run dual monitors, allow me to VPN into work with no problems, run Office (for Mac), and perform some basic gaming and video editing. This little computer performs all of these tasks like a champ. I did rate it at four vs. five stars since the monitor hooked up to the Thunderbolt port sometimes wakes up with a pink hue, requiring me to disconnect the video cable and reconnect. I've tried this with several monitors and it appears to be a problem with the Thunderbolt port itself. Those reviewers who complain about the hard drive speed are not wrong. if you're use to SSD speed, the hard drive speed on the Mac Mini will be noticeably slower. However, I don't believe Apple designed this computer to be a powerhouse or speed demon. It really is just for basic general purpose use. Although I would highly recommend that you opt for the 8gb version vs. the 4gb version. The RAM is not replaceable and you will provide yourself with a bit of future-proofing by opting for the extra memory.

It works great for every aspect of my job. Can't say enough about the ease of use and compact nature of the computer for my desk.

Very small using on a sony 4k tv for a home theater pc. it works perfect and drives the screen through hdmi full resolution

I got the middle one of the three available, and it works great and make a computer portable, just plug into any hdmi

I got this mac in 2015, and got it for $599 for the price it's a good computer and would recommend to a friend.

I owned a huge and old HP computer. It was time for a change and this was such a great investment! It is very compact and easy to use. I enjoy both PC and Mac, therefore, I was definitely impressed by the performance of the Mac Mini. And might I say, 1 TB! That's a great amount of space.

Excellent performance. I own an old version of the mac mini (plastic) and I change for this. I think that change my life again. Everything smooth and well, performance, graphics (I'm an architect, I draw with sketchup,autodesk autocad, grapisoft Archicad, and Vectorworks. It's really fast! even with all that apps running. Excellent computer.
