Bought this as a second computer to travel with and it's perfect for travel. It's light and compact yet has enough storage/capacity for my needs. The smaller keyboard takes a little bit of getting used to but fine after a few days of using it. I was hesitant initially about the gold color but I love it now. It's not the stereotypical flashy gold but a toned down version that looks quite nice. Very happy with the purchase. No issues so far.

I liked all the products I purchased. Laptop was bought for college student light to carry and easy to use.

This is my second mackbook 12 inch, this is prefect for work in the road, thiny, ligth and fast prossessor!!

Although not outperforming the macbook air, the retina display of the 12 inch and it's ultra slim form factor makes it the perfect successor to the air for less power hungry users.

My son is about to be a freshman in high school and the compact size and ease of use is great for him!

I read many reviews of the MacBooks and different versions before deciding to purchase. The MacBook has been been great for me, easy to travel with, great for listening to music, photos, surfing the web. I'm not a hard core Mac user so this model is perfect for me. Keyboard took a little while to get used to but now I like it. I would definitely recommend the MacBook to anyone looking for a thin, light, easy to use and easy to travel with computer.

Macbook 2016 is compact and powerful. Much difference from previous versions. Same size with larger screen.

Upgrading from a MacBook Air, this is a nice piece of tech. Keyboard has a very different feel with shallower travel which takes getting used to. Trackpad is also very nice. Overall footprint almost feels too small but it may take some getting used to as well. Makes this a lot easier to travel with on planes, etc. Typical Apple performance with good fit and finish. Screen is also a nice improvement from my Air with better resolution and brightness. If you're a fan of Apple products, this should fit the bill nicely to replace an aged or dying machine.

Super lite ! Performance is good. A MacBook Pro is faster. But if size is important this is your laptop. .

Lightweight, quiet, powerful. Bought a portable external monitor and use the two instead of a desktop.

Compact and the rose gold is beautiful. The first one was defective. I haven't had any problems with this one. No USB port. You have to purchase an adapter for $80. The video recording is not that great.

The new MacBook is ultra thin, yet still manages to maintain a sturdy, high-quality feel. The Retina display looks amazing. The processor specs appear pretty low (1.1 GHz), but somehow that doesn't translate in the performance I've experienced. It's fast, smooth, and fluid. Everything syncs simply and amazingly with my other Apple products; I can seamlessly do web surfing, phone calls, FaceTime calls, and messaging on the MacBook.

didnt know weather to buy MacBook pro or MacBook air..I've always been an apple lover.. had 2011 and older MacBook pros and a 2010 MacBook air but this newer one is perfect incorporated thin lightweight design from MacBook air and brighter screen from MacBook pro .. This is a great investment if you want a step up from MacBook air but not the price of a MacBook pro p.s.macbook air's screen is not bright enough especially in sunlight

It's very easy to use and the battery can be used for a long time.And rose gold is a pretty cute color.
