purchased as a anniversary gift. Good choice. Small, compact and light weight for my wife to tote around in her purse or when she's just laying in the bed or even when she on the move.

I'm no Apple fanboy, but I will say that buying this has made me consider leaving PCs behind. Startup is much smoother and everything seems run a tad faster. Paying the extra for the 256GB seems worth it for speed purposes.

I absolutely love my new MacBook. It's everything that I wanted to computer to be. The only drawback is that it does not have a USB port. But I've been able to work around that.

I originally purchased only because it matched my phone but then I fell in love! It's super lightweight so it went in my book bag perfectly. It holds everything I need for school. My only negative comment would be no USB drive.

I've been an apple owner for about 12 years now. My first apple computer was the iMac... the one that looks like a lamp. Afterwards, I ended up getting a MacBook laptop. It served my for over 10 years so it was time to get a new one. I wanted a cheap mac so I was set on Mac Air. There was a sale in the newer MacBook so I figured why not. After tinkering with it for a few days, I realized that I could have saved some money by just getting a new iPad. By the way... I have an iPad mini and it sucks. It broke after 2 months. That fact alone made me think about getting the laptop over the iPad. The MacBook is nice, clean but underpowered. No usb so I had to buy an adapter. No cd drive either. It is essentially an iPad with a keyboard and high price tag. Go buy the MacBook Pro. Spend a bit more to get a lot more.

didn't start of great due to my first lurched of this conputer literally stoped working the 3rd day and went back and ordered a new one. the battery life last about 5 hours mac, and it's super light and small so you can take it anywhere but since it's so light def.get a case for the laptop. Over all good laptop doesn't heat up bad. and I only use it for school.

i bought this laptop for my review class. I love how compact it is and the fact that it can fit to most of my bags. I used 3 different laptop brands before and all i can say is that this is the best ive used so far.

I finally switched from Hp to Mac and I don't regret it for a second three months later. As long as you buy the plug adapter and don't use CDs then this is the best light weight laptop you can buy. Great for law school.
