I really love this laptop. It fits right into my purse. I love the golden finish. It's fast and has enough memory for my needs. Will be good for grad school and my ailing back after an old Macbook Pro.

This is a great computer for someone that does what 99% of us do with computers, search the web, download pictures from cameras/devices, use MS Office, and other normal things. I had a bunch of windows/apps running at the same time and it worked just fine. Cons: I returned this item after 28 days (as elite member) after not getting over the anxiety of the Intel M series processor and single USB-C port. I was also haunted by the potential of a thinner Macbook Pro 13" in Q4CY16. I would recommend this mac to anyone. I can definitely see its utility for someone. I often wonder if I made the right decision.... Bottom line: the single USB-C port isn't really that big of a deal, but the 12" and the Intel M processor finally did me in. I went with a Macbook Pro 13".... I think I made the right choice (but I did like the Macbook 12")

The laptop is perfect for a travelling. It is light and easy to carry around. I would suggest this for light uses though, because it doesn't have ports like many might need (I bought an adapter).

As I have another computer for my job, this is a really great companion for my personal use. I’m sure it probably wouldn’t run huge and heavy programming stuff but what I wanted it for was just for the daily mail check, web browsing, and music, and this is perfect for the job. Lightweight and portable.

I love the size of this mac, it is great to carry around on trips. The color is a unique shade of gold. The only difference is you only have 2 ports, which can be frustrating when you want to use a USB.

What can i say...Apple makes some great computers. The build is solid, good specs and the 12" screen is the perfect size for a college student. Very mobile and light...pretty good battery life.

I love Mac products. Am very happy with my new Air. It's compact, super light, with long battery life. Does everything (for my needs) my Mac Pro does no questions asked. Would purchase again.

I love this laptop it's so thin sleek and a beautiful color I have a retake an apple in Rosegold and I was glad to add this to my collection it's very easy to use and a good upgrade to my old Mac

I specifically chose this model for its lightweight body and its speed. The computer works perfectly well and I haven't had any issues with it so far, its fast and lightweight. Its also gorgeous but that doesn't really affect its function but its certainly worth noting! I love using this to supplement my iMac when I'm traveling, great for using on planes.

I own a mobile business so I'm always out running around working in multiple areas. This MacBook is awesome. Perfect size for my needs. Haven't noticed in real lag. I do basic word processing, emails, stream Netflix. I don't do heavy duty video editing or anything like that. Screen is awesome. Put in a case immediately. I read another review online and I agree it's like having a high end iPad with a full computer operating system. Lack of ports hasn't been an issue. I bought a USB adapter and that's it. I haven't even used that yet.

So light weight and fast! I love that I still get the same quality as my older macbook in a much more convenient size. Perfect for grad school :)

The Macbook doens't have the power of a Macbook Pro but it doesn't need it. It's q speedy little thing, with the newer M3 processor. Much faster than the 2015 model. Moving form a 13" Macbook Pro, I thought I might have a problem with the smaller screen, but I got used to it in a day or two. The Retina screen is absolutely gorgeous. The only downside is the one USB-C port ofr power and everyting else. Apple, what were you thinking? But even with the one port, you can get by with a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Just watch the power meter and don't start anything where you have to use the adapter and only have a little power left. That, or buy an adapter that also has a USB-C.

This might sound insane but I prefer this MacBook over the MacBook Pro with the Touch Bar. The MacBook Pro seemed to bulky for me carrying it across campus for 7 hours of the day. The petite laptop is so compact and carries such a punch. It is a lot faster than its predecessor 2015 MacBook with Retina Display. You will not regret the purchase. If you are having a hard time in deciding on what color to get, let me break it down. If you are conservative and old fashioned, get the silver. If you like a seamless design between the display and the actual unibody of the laptop, get the space gray. If you are very vibrant, vocal, artistic and like to have color in your life, get the rose gold. Last but not least, gold. I purchased the gold because I like the low key champagne gold. It is for someone who likes to add flair to their look without attracting major attention. WHO THIS LAPTOP IS NOT FOR HIGH END GAMERS EXTREME VIDEO EDITING SOFTWARE ENGINEERS ETC....

Purchased this to replace an old laptop. Love the size, very lightweight and portable. Could not be happier with our purchase. This was our first Mac and now that is all we will consider.

When you look it up online, you think the screen is small. I ordered using my student discount. And, boy, I love it. screen is spot on. Light, modern, easy to use. Just right

I have a 13" Macbook Pro but I wanted something lighter for my work bag. I started looking around and found this 12 Macbook. It's very thin and so light it feels like all,lost nothing! It's just what I was looking for, all of the Apple performance I'm used to in a small, lightweight package for work. The screen is extremely sharp and I love having a normal keyboard. I was going to look at a larger iPad but this is so much better.

Macbook is very light weight compare to air and pro. The sound is better than air but performance is slower than pro. So it is up to you to decide product. I personally vote for macbook because I can go anywhere with it. The price is a little bit high but it's worth it.

The computer is very fast and perfect for everyday use. It's also very aesthetically pleasing and the rose gold color is just gorgeous. It's also super light weight, which is the main reason why I chose this computer because I was tired of carrying around my old MacBook Pro that was much heavier.

This has to be the best laptop I have ever owned!!!!! It never crashes and does everything I can throw at it. It's crystal clear and super light. Perfect for on the go.

It is the finest screen I own, better than my cell phone. The netbook weighs less than 2.5 pounds. The battery lasts more than 8 hours. Very glad that i selected it.
