I bought this to replace a 2010 MBP and I am literally stunned at how much faster it is. I love how light and compact it is, it's a great laptop.

Wonderful little iBook in a rose gold color, powerful and easy to fit in a small briefcase.

Bought this for daughter for college as a MacBook Pro replacement. So much lighter and smaller for her and also faster. Great laptop.

This is an awesome computer for a student. battery lasts a long time so light and easy to carry all day. really fast no negatives yet

I'm a big Apple hardware fan. I have to use Office365 for work, but I always install the Mac versions on Apple hardware. Far less issues, viruses etc. The Macbook is pretty small so I don't recommend it for huge spreadsheets or creating high-quality PPTs. But for most work and personal tasks it gets the job done with flying colors. I love how light it is when I'm traveling. The lone USB-C port can take some getting used to but I bought an Anker device that expands it so I'm good.

I switched to the MAC platform a few years ago with an IMAC. I was looking for a lightweight laptop, and thought about getting a Chromebook, but still wanted the full capabilities that a full computer gives you. The Apple Rep was in my Best Buy Store the day I went in to look at laptops, and his recommendation was to go with a MacBook to meet my stated needs. Lightweight, powerful for what I use it for, and extremely durable.

I love it. thin, great design, splendid screen, fast. Bought one 3 years ago and this one was for my spouse. Great product !

A great machine for trips to archives. Light, long battery life, and with the need bells and whistles. Some complain about a single port. Given the flexibility of USB C, I now actually carry fewer accessories than before.

This has the smallest display out of all the Mac laptops, but is lighter and easier to carry around like an iPad. The 8GB memory and speed of the processor is very zippy for nearly all use cases. If you are just browsing the web with many tabs and watching movies, you will be very satisfied with how this machine can handle what you throw at it. Not to mention this machine is fan-less. Like an iPad, it will be silent when you are watching that movie on the bed.

the best thing is that it weighs very little and does not make noise, easy to use and the battery lasts a lot

Bought this for school. Very small and convenient to carry around. Weighs practically nothing! Very simple to use!

This computer is so light and has all the bells and whistles I need to enjoy my on line time. There is a learning curve and I would have attended the free classes at Best Buy if I did not live so far away

Just updated a model and couldn't be happier the computer seems lighter and has a great look... faster as well

This is a great laptop! It’s small and lightweight making it ultra portable. I like the macOS better than iOS 11 which is why I chose this over the iPad Pro. I’m very pleased with my decision.

I had a MacBook pro previously that was just slowing down and was driving me crazy. Finally decided to upgrade and such a great decision. Has the essentials. Super thin and light weight. I am sad to see the newer versions don't have anything but the USB C port. That being said, I don't use much of the ports and haven't needed to buy an adapter, but I will so I'm not running to the store when I need it.

The MacBook's purpose is to be the thinest and lightest complete laptop made, and it succeeds at its purpose. There is obviously a tradeoff between size and power; if power and large screen display is your preference look elsewhere, but if lightness and small size is your preference, consider the MacBook. The color display is very good, and the storage is sufficient-ample if supplemented by a remote hard drive which I recommend.

It's very user friendly. It guides you through most set-up processes so you can get started. Even if your skills are rusty, it seems fairly clear how to proceed with most functions.

This MacBook is great. It is very light weight. It is fast and holds its charge. Love it!
