I love this Mac. It is very fast. Image is great. Right size. Light!! And the gold is great!!

I find the 12” screen overall size perfect; fantastic laptop with great battery life. The keyboard can take a bit to get used to but once you do typing is a breeze.

I purchased this computer as a supplement for my MacBook Pro which never really traveled with me. Its amazing. The size and weight are great. I've owned the MacBook Air, Pro (including the touch bar) and this is my favorite MacBook for travel. Only downside is the one port but a docking station or the multi-port dongle alleviates that. I find this version plenty powerful for all my needs. I've tried the M7 and did not see much difference. Got it when it was on sale for $300 off at Best Buy. At that price its a terrific value for a Mac.

I bought this for my wife because of the size and memory and price. The only issue would be you need to get an adapter to plug any of your devices to it.

Sleek design, good speed, good performance, ultra light, perfect for routine use! the keyboard does need a ltllte bit of getting used to! Overall, I am happy with my purchase!

It's an apple product. Everything that can be said has already been said. The long term durability of this product remains to be seen but as of now I am enjoying the portability of the device as well as the decent but not outstanding battery life. The keyboard is quite user friendly and not at all a concern, contrary to a lot of online reviews. However, I dislike the front webcam immensely. Considering the quality of the cameras on the iPhone, one would expect Apple to do better.

The 12" MacBook had most of its performance issues corrected by the upgrade to the 6th gen Intel processors in 2016. It now works fine for even medium-grade multitasking, such as PIP-playing a YouTube video, entering information into a spreadsheet, and also running a download in the background. The majority of the connectivity issues due to having 1 port can be worked around by purchasing a dongle to convert the port into several ports, particularly if you use an iPhone and also take advantage of AirDrop. However, the keyboard makes it unsuitable for those who have to write hundreds or thousands of words per day. While it only took me a week or two to adjust to the reduced key travel, what I was not expecting was the fatigue and even pain in my fingers after writing longer pieces on it. I imagine it is the fact that the tiny key travel means that you're not doing much different than smashing the ends of your fingers into a hard surface thousands of times when you write something longer than an email or Facebook post. If you do a lot of writing, I recommend you look at the 2015 retina MacBook Pros or even an iPad Pro with a Logitech or Brydge keyboard for something less punishing to your fingers. If you need a UNIX shell, long battery life, a great screen, and reasonable power, this may be for you. If you need to write a lot, transfer and edit photos taken with a real camera without yet more dongles, or do more demanding tasks like writing and compiling code, take a look elsewhere.

Works great! Battery lasts super long and has great sound when playing music. Convenient on the go and excellent for homework especially being in college. It has such a great rose pink color!

After watching countless youtube reviews I was worried this macbook was going to be a big let down boy was I wrong. I wanted a minimalistic laptop that was built well and had decent performance and this macbook fits the bill. The 12" screen and shallow keyboard seemed very awkward at first but I'm more than use to it at this point. Normal 15" screens now seem down right huge and I can't type as quick on a regular keyboard. Never had an issue with performance on this machine, use it for basic office work, web browsing and media consumption. Battery is great and the speakers are down right good for a laptop this size. I would stick with the base model and if you need more storage just get a usb-c flash drive and your good to go.

I finally bought myself the latest version of MacBook. 12" - as light as MacBook Air 11" and I love the rose quartz color. Although I have a Mac Desktop and love it too, this enables me to work from anywhere. Just got a new job using MVMare and I am using my MacBook when traveling to other offices or working from home.

I was extremely skeptical purchasing this MacBook since I previously had a MacBook Pro. In saying this, I am THRILLED that I went for this one. It's aesthetically pleasing, insanely thin, lightweight, and has so many great features. I was concerned about the battery life, but from my experience it has not been a problem thus far! I absolutely love it!

We love the Macbook! It is simple to set up, simple to use and does what we need it to for our household. That said, we aren't big into gaming and do not run a lot of programs on the machine so I can't weigh in on how it performs outside of its standard configuration. But, it is light, opens up quickly has incredible resolution on the screen!

I was undecided between this and the Air. Given the price difference, it's actually really difficult to convince yourself that the MacBook is a better buy. But my priority was portability. I love being able to carry the machine in my bag as nonchalantly as I carry my phone. For me, the size and weight were the deciding factors. Plus I like the color.

I love this laptop, not going to lie I wasmore drawn and biased to the color of the laptop, not the power of the computer, simply because Im not an engineer I'm not doing anything crazy that requires a bunch of different programs to be ran on it, i just need it to surf the web and type essays. I was waiting to buy the new MacBook Pro just because it's the newest one and it seemed promising, but when I found out they were not making it in rose gold I went with the MacBook instead. I'm not sure how it compares to the MacBook Pro, but I love it my little MacBook. it's perfect for what I use it for and I have no complaints other than the price. I have a little laptop sleeve for it, the laptop fits in my purse perfectly and it's so light I barely notice it while walking around campus. I don't like the fact that it has no ports, but you can buy a dongle for that. Other then that I love my laptop! Definitely recommend if you're willing to spend the money.

I decided to purchase this computer for school and I am so happy I did! It is the perfect size and it isn’t slow whatsoever!
