The size, weight and overall appearance of this laptop is perfect. I don't feel like i'm using a smaller computer b/c the keyboard is full size. it's great b/c it doesn't over heat and there's no need for a fan to cool it off due to the single state harddrive. It's fast and is so easy to put in my bag and take to work with me everyday!

Bought for my daughter. Very lightweight and compact. Would definitely recommend a protective cover since it is so thin.

I needed a new computer and previously had a 13 inch MacBook that lasted me 8+ years. I knew I wanted another MacBook and was instantly drawn to the 12 inch. The size is perfect for bringing in my workbag as it is lightweight and thin. I am in love with the gold finish! Fast processor! Great computer, highly recommend it!

I'm an apple product advocate. I bought this macbook to replace one that's lasted me 10 years so far. It took a little bit to get used to the keyboard, and not having usb ports. But other than that, it is a great product. Nice and compact, and light enough to carry around for school. And the retina display is amazing.

This 12" Macbook is amazing! It is so stylish and thin, yet packs a powerful punch like no other! I couldn't be more pleased. This huge screen in such a tiny casing is a brilliant use of space and technology to create the perfect laptop! This beautiful rose gold color certainly ups the wow factor too!!! Way to go APPLE!!!!!!

Lightweight in terms of weight but does everything I want and need it to do. Easy to carry around. Fast processing. Easy to navigate. Attachment necessary to connect to everything except headphone as that has a port to connect. Not a big deal for what I am using this computer. Very happy with this purchase.

This MacBook is very light and thin, yet performing every daily tasks very well. If you need a portable laptop for web browsing and processing office documents, or for school, this is the best one to get.

It was last years model and open box so the deal was great and the computer is small and slick looking.

Bought this as an anniversary gift for my wife, who was bemoaning the slowness of her HP PC. She was so pleased! At least 5x faster than the PC, very portable so she can take it to work, excellent graphics and sharp colors. Have had it 3 months now and still performing like new. No regrets!

This 2016 version is noticeably faster than last year's mainly because of the duo-core processor. I could not believe how light it was upon lifting it out of the box. It feels more like a tablet than a laptop. The battery's life is still pretty good considering how compact and light this macbook is.

Apple has designed this Macbook for someone who needs a notebook computer that is very easy to carry around. It is has a retina screen which is of excellent quality. The keyboard requires getting used to because the travel of the keys is very shallow. If the 256GB SSD is not sufficient, then a configuration with 512GB is also available. The Rose Gold color seems to be very popular, although it is also available in Silver, Gold and Space Gray.

I previously had MacAir, but think MacPro is even better! I love the speed and the clarity!

Awesome little laptop. Not as powerful as a MacBook Pro but much greater computer abilities than an iPad. Runs all the programs I need- Microsoft Office, Photos, Preview. I thought not having multiple ports such as an SD card reader and a USB port would be annoying but by adding a multiport adapter I get everything I need in this great small package. Definitely worth eliminating the ports for the size and weight convenience. Great battery life too! Being quite a bit smaller than the MacBook Air, the screen is still almost as large thanks to Apple using the full surface with no border/frame around the picture itself. My only complaint was that the keyboard was a kind of odd since it has flatter keys than other models and it took me a little while to get used to using it.

Love the MacBook! The size is perfect and fits in most of my shoulder bags. Nice screen size and it's extremely light. Easy navigation. Thought only having the one port would be a problem however I purchased the accessories needed for add-ons and did not experience any problems.

It's sleek, it's fast, it does very well at editing, and it's a Mac. You will have no issues with the OS, as it syncs across all of your current iOS and Mac devices. Fluid OS; long battery; and beautiful screen. I could go on, but I will just say this Is a great laptop.

Great screen on Macbook, crystal clear, the speed has been pretty good on it as well.
