I purchased this MacBook to transition from a 2015 MBP 13 inch. I wanted the portability and smaller form factor to use in flight and it delivers that and more. In terms of performance, I thought that this would feel like a downgrade from my MBP, but so far I can't tell the difference or in many ways it feels faster. I now realized that not focusing so much on specs has paid off as this MB works great for my normal tasks (Internet - plenty of tabs, MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel), Online video streaming including Netflix. I have to say that I've been pleasantly surprised at the performance from this little machine.

This is a great everyday laptop. The battery life last at least 10 hours. Disappointed at BestBuy because they said I would get my order in a week. Shipment was delayed without a scheduled delivery date so I cancelled my order and bought one at the Apple store.

This is the easiest washer in the world to use! You put the detergent in the small pull out tray and the clothes in, close the top, and push the start button. I love how it 'weighs' the clothes to see how much water to use. Easy to use, quiet, many nice and handy features like "delicate" wash, quick wash and rinse & spin. Clothes come out clean and with less water. The tub has more room for clothes or to wash your bedding. As with any washer, do not overfill, and your laundry will come out clean. Enjoy the musical tones at the end of the wash cycle. Pros: Lots of Features, Easy to Use, Looks Great, Good Size & Weight

Great computer at a great price. Small, light, and very capable for most computer applications. Beautiful display, superior Apple quality. Overall, a beautiful machine!

This is the first laptop I have ever had n my entire life, and I have to say I will be back for more. I love how easily I can access this laptop, and how slim it is making it easier for me to carry all of my belongings around school. I highly recommend this product for anyone, not just college students, since it easily connects to my phone and other apple products, as well as having a great retina display. I have not had any issues with this laptop, and I appreciate the gold color of my laptop.

I had had a MacBook Pro 13", and I still have a MacBook Pro 15". I love Apple laptops, but felt they're still heavy for carrying during traveling. This 12" MacBook is perfect for carrying it around. Just hope they will have a 13" one and as light as this one. :)

This is my first time getting a Mac and it has been a great laptop so far. Very lightweight and easy to travel with. Only downside is that it doesn't come with a USB port.

Apple does it again. This laptop is beautiful and user friendly. My kids can use it with no instruction. The only drawback is the lack of a cd reader and USB ports.

I like the portability of this Macbook. Noticeably a bit slower than my Macbook Pro, but that was expected. My main concern was having the lightest computer I could find. I do think Apple should have a dedicated power plug and not make the single USB-C port the only thing available.

I like how light it is and am a fan of the new keyboard. The screen is also nice. However, I miss the Magsafe plug in, NO ports for anything except one USB C, Apple Logo doesn't light up anymore. Can't really notice it as a major upgrade over the Air except for it's slim and pretty features. Don't know why they made it worse in terms of getting rid of Magsafe, lighting up the apple logo and no ports, etc...

Nothing surprising, i knew what i was buying.... great form factor for portability, but at the cost of function. the lack of ports is irritating for someone who frequently plugs in accessories (it has one USB-C plug and THAT's IT!). the limited hard drive space is a downside as well for high intensity user. the processor gets easily overclocked with high use (e.g., having 50 tabs open at once). However, it does a few things very well...... extremely portable, relatively easy to use for a first time mac owner (some setting up and configuring involved that took me a couple days), looks great, has backlit keyboard, retina display, and classic apple aluminum case. Recommend this for someone who needs portability and is willing to carry a dongle in their bag for USB flashdrives, mouse, keyboard, external hard drive, printer, monitor, etc. It can handle higher use scenarios, but watch your gauges to keep from running too hot.

This MacBook has served very well for the past one month. The small size and fast processor makes this MacBook the best in the market. I am really loving it

Wow! extremely light weight and thin. Even with cover it doesn't weigh much. Very comfortable to use. Fast enough for regular use. Very well designed product

Love the computer , easy to work light weight, works well with photoshop! I did buy an external hard drive for extra storage. Love the size and ease to use.

This computer is basically replacing my Ipad and my larger laptop. I love the size of it, screen is big enough to be able to read and the weight is light enough to be really portable. It takes a while to get comfortable with the keyboard...the keys are flat rather than above the keyboard, but once you use it for a while its not a problem. I bought the attachment to be able to use a thumbdrive so that has not been an issue. So far, I am very happy with this Macbook.

I bought it for my sister as abirthday present. It nice small light weight. Runs good so far no glitches. I dislike the fact that they remove the usb so now we had to purchase a device for that device kinda sucks and the device is so important!!!

I bought the surface book, surface pro 4, and this mac book ... I ended up only keeping the MacBook. First of all, it's gorgeous! Secondly, it is the most portable of all of the devices in terms of weight. Lastly, it matches my phone and it is synced so nicely! If you are looking for a portable laptop, this does the trick. If you absolutely need a convertable tablet and laptop then this is not for you. I didn't like the hassle of converting the surfaces into tablets so I always kept them in laptop mode in order to use the keyboard , so that helped me decide that I didn't need a tablet .

The latest model Apple Macbook is extremely light and compact. It's full size keyboard makes it very easy to operate. It meets my needs in all areas.

can't beat apple products for performance, appearance and the latest technology...keyboard is excellent, processor is super fast.....very pleased

I purchased a MacBook Pro with only 128 SSD which I had to be careful with concerning drive space, even after that only had 60 gigs left with just 3 months of usage. This 2016 model was on sale (thanks SlickDeals) and I had some Best Buy points so only paid $770 after taxes, this was a great deal, plus it has a 256 SSD. I bought this expecting it to be super slow compared to the 2017 MacBook Pro but honestly really not that much of a difference when web surfing or doing school work (computer networking) and ended up selling the MacBook Pro on eBay. Now with all that said I'm fully aware that developers, scientist, video editors will not be satisfied with a MacBook that has a M3 cpu but that is not the case for me since I use it for class work and travel, so perfect for my situation.
