I got it from my friend, it's really light and suitable for me when I have to travel anywhere

I enjoyed my base model 2015 MacBook, but needed more storage and speed, so decided to upgrade when I found a great deal in an open box unit at BB. I know use this as my only computer, and it works great! Plenty of power, slim design, and no noisy fans, make this a great little notebook.

I bought this for my wife, who travels a lot between LA and NYC. It is a great blend of good aesthetic design and usability. Light weight and sturdy. The only complaint is the reduction of ports for the newest model, but we're not ready to pass judgement on that just yet.

This is my first MacBook. So far so good. It does what I need it to do. I use word and excel spreadsheets a lot as well as play games on it. It’s lightweight and easy to use.

Laptop functions great, everything runs fast and smooth, only downside is the expensive accessories required for USB adapter and other special connections.

I love this version of Apple's MacBook line. Its small enough to travel without taking away from performance. The only knock is the single USB-C port but I bought an adapter with usb 3.0 and HDMI ports. The battery life is great.

The MacBook is a perfect size and is easy to carry around. The down side is the one USB C port but buying an adapter will work great too. Other then that the laptop is fast and can definitely replace the idea of getting an iPad.

Every time I pick up this laptop, I'm amazed how light and small it is. It is the perfect compromise between productivity and portability. The only downside is that I wish it had 1 more USB-C port but I haven't felt hindered yet.

One of Macs finest! Lightweight and slim design. Full-size keyboard. Only downside is having no ports and needing an adapter...not a huge inconvenience though. Unfortunately, my computer bag was stolen with this Mac inside. :-(

This is my second MacBook. I haven't upgraded in almost 10 years and I am SO HAPPY with my new one. It is fast, thin, small and exactly what I wanted. The sales guy was super helpful in my decision process too.

The reviews that you've read about this Mac are mostly true. The keyboard takes some getting used to and the screen is a bit smaller. The biggest drawback is the single USB-C port. You will need to buy a dongle if you want to charge and plug something else in. On the bright side the battery life is amazing. I easily get 8 to 12 hours on a charge depending on what I'm doing. I can go for a few days without charging if I'm not using the Mac that much. In that respect it's a lot like an iPad, grab it when you need it, don't worry about bringing a charger. Overall a solid laptop. I still haven't found competitors that build machines to the same quality. I bought mine on sale, it was well worth it.

The computer is used for daily activities, nothing too fancy, but it is everything I need! The rose gold is very pretty and different compared to Apples old standard silver color. The computer is small and lightweight which is great when bringing it to and from school. My biggest complaint which is standard with all of Apples New Products is that there are not the standard HDMI, USB, etc plugins. I also don't understand why Apple made the new iPhone with no headphone jack but this one does. Seems like they are not putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together before launching products. Great product again but surprised at Apple's problems as it relates to not having solid consistency across their products.

This is a very nice piece of Apple technology. The best feature of the new Macbook 12” is the weight. It's the lightest laptop you'll ever hold. The new Skylake CPU holds up well. I use this laptop for web browsing, Microsoft Office, and watching YouTube/Netflix and don't get any lag at all. It’s a must have.

Very happy with the purchase. Laptop is light and fast. Only concern is it only comes with one port so you must purchase the multi port connector supplied by apple if you want to use traditional USB.

At first, I was hesitant due to the rating touting the speed challenges of this machine versus the MacBook Pro. Gotta tell you, I think for me this machine is perfect for the home based work I do: pictures, videos, surfing, etc. My work MBP (touchbar) is faster but almost imperceptibly. I love it.

This gorgeous laptop was my best purchase ever! It's fast sleek amazing picture worth every penny yes you do have to buy the adapters but come on its Apple which means great quality!
