I received the pre-owned MacBook Air and even before plugging in, I noticed that the keyboard buttons were heavily overused, with letter T and G practically scratched and missing respectively. The whole laptop was somewhat dirty and in horrible condition. I did not care if it worked and returned it to the store the very next day.

The computer runs super slow. The display is blurry and the battery doesn’t last long.

This is an older model, so issues with software upgrades were to be expected. With a bit of work, I was able to upgrade MacOS to the most current version available for this MacBook and found the most current Microsoft Office available for that MacOS. The major problem was the lack of a power cord that fits this model. All I got was the USB-C power supply without the needed magnetic adapter. I contacted the refurbisher. At first, they claimed I had all I needed. I sent them pictures, and their answer changed to say they had no adapters. Fortunately, Amazon had what I needed; otherwise, I would have had to return the MacBook with its run-down battery.
