The macbook air is a great starting commuter laptop, bought for sister who's in high school, she uses it a lot, but doesn't need a cd drive (which are being phased out anyways)

This is a great unit for anyone. School fun or travel this fits it all. Light, compact and attractive this fits almost every day needs.

The design of the laptop is excellent. However it was difficult to set up properly. It was for my son. We used my iTunes account and it automatically put my name on his profile. I tried to set up another admin profile and then correct his, but it keeps locking up when using Safari and closing out. Not sure if I messed it up or it is having another independent issue. Waited for a tech at Apple Store for 90 minutes and ran out of time. Not sure how to restore this thing to factory settings like I would a Windows PC

light weight, excellent battery life. Quality of screen, including color intensity, not as good as other Mac's such as MacBook Pro.

Bought this for our HS senior for Christmas. He doesn't use the school issued computer anymore. It's faster and he's able to save time doing his homework. He'll be taking it to college in 7 months. We have all Apple products so we familiar with the Apple quality.

I have owned pc's for years, bought an iPad and loved that. When my pc started giving me trouble for the thousandth time I finally made up my mind to buy a Mac! So happy I did!! With simple home use it should be the last laptop I buy! And the price was right too!!

I was a little hesitant to move from the MacBook Pro, but this light weight laptop does the trick just fine. Luckily I knew someone with a disc drive that i could use to load all of my software, but other than that feature missing, it satisfies my needs so far.

This MacBook Air is fast and snappy, very light and easy to use. No problem so far.

Great battery life and the flash is very quick. Nice not to feel the heat coming from your laptop and fans running. I'm complete now as we now have an IMac, iPad, iPhone anns MacBook. To have all your information at your fingertips is a great feeling...

I'm a beginner for Apple Macbook. It is light enough that you can bring it everywhere and handle any documents or homework. The staff also kind so don't be hesitate to ask them a lot of questions.

I've gone through so many PC's that kept on slowing or breaking down. it was time to change to a Mac. I love my Macbook Air! It works fast, efficiently, nice colors, and with great functionality. I use it so often as a graduate student. Terrific purchase!

Absolutely love the MacAir I've purchased. The 13 inch screen is big enough to see easily. I added the office program to it bcuz I use Excel a lot. Don't think you could go wrong with this laptop. I even purchased an external hard drive and dvd unit. Love it.

This is the best laptop I have ever purchased,I only wish I had done it sooner. Light weight, easy to set-up, great battery life,and many great apps.

So happy with my buy! A+++ for the MacBook Air! Huge Apple fan anyhow but was deciding between the air and pro. Having had an old pro previously, I much prefer the weight of the air and the display is not much different to the pro for my every day use!

Its my first Mac so I'm going to list differences i felt compared to PC. Solid product, size is just perfect, response is fast even if you've 6 or 7 applications running. Pic quality is amazing, sound is perfect for the size. Price was very good as I got it during 4-hour flash sale which was $200 less than advertised price with 10% coupon discount! Overall I've no complain, specially with Holidays 45 days return period, You can try it out and see how you feel about it..

Impressive autonomy as expected, requires a couple days before getting used to it when coming from a windows system but very user friendly after that

We purchased this as a graduation gift for our son. He uses it on a daily basis and he loves it. It's the perfect size for taking it to class and has to power to run all the programs he needs!

I wanted to experience using a Mac. It is light weight and easy to use. I love the backup light on the keyboard.

We purchased this for our daughter - getting ready to go to college next year. We wanted to be sure she was comfortable with it - and she was all set up and comfortable in less than one day - maybe faster!! One thing checked off our list :)
