This was a purchase for a freshman college student. It's thin and very potable. The only downside is the screen resolution.

This is one of the many MacBook (pro and air) I have bought in the past several years and it only keeps getting better.

My daughter purchased this with some inheritance money (dad was vigilant in watching for sale prices!) and she absolutely loves it. I purchased the Geek Squad protection plan with it, as I can't be too sure for a 16 year old. I also purchased an outside insurance plan to cover breakage at a very reasonable cost. So for, it has met all her expectations. She's definitely an Apple girl! I can function fine with Android and Windows. Must be a teenager/status thing that I don't understand.

Got my mac book air last month. I just love everything about it- its light, excellent battery life and versatile to use.

I used to have a really heavy laptop I would take to lecture everyday. That computer broke. I was angry at first but then it opened the opportunity to purchase another one. I went with this product and am extremely satisfied. It is super fast, light, has just the right amount of storage a college student would need. I recommend this to students like me but not for someone that will be using it to store plenty of files and wants to keep them all in a single computer.

very lightweight. The very reason why I got it. I would rather carry this around to classes instead of my MacBook Pro.

Lighter weight than my previous lap top. Set up was very easy & my son in law did all the foot work before & after.

This item was purchased from the Merrillville Best Buy. I specifically asked for the MacBook Pro but when I got home and opened the box I had the Air. I no longer trust the sales people at this BB since this is the second time this type of thing has happened to me. I kept the Air since I could tell little difference in the screen resolution. Check the item very carefully before you purchase anything from this BB if they carry it around like you are going to steal it.

This is a great laptop for a college student. It is light and very portable.

This is as light as my first air, but much faster. The memory card slot is a nice new addition though. Thanks APPLE!
