This is my #1 choice for a laptop for college. It is light and portable so I can carry it in my backpack along with my books. It also has great storage and speed that I need to complete all my class projects.

I had a Dell before and there's no comparison. I love the speed and ease of use. I'm glad I got the bigger screen, too. Visuals and graphics are so clear and crisp. Like the way it syncs with my iPhone

My friend was looking for an extra-portable laptop. She is not extremely tech savvy and just wants something that is user-friendly, easy-to-setup and functions out of the box. So I recommended her Macbook Air 13inch. You expect high quality products from Apple, and you can count on it for years to come. Although it doesn't have all the bells-and-whistles of a high configuration, top-of-the-market workhorse, it does all the daily tasks very well, and it's blazingly fast. The price is pretty competitive as well. We took advantage of the Florida sale-tax-free weekend, $100 in-store discount and $100 student discount. She was able to pick up the 256GB model for sub-1000$. Sweet deal.

I had a MacBook Pro which I loved, I love this one even more! It's light, fast and just an excellent product overall. Wish it had more memory but I can live without that. Highly recommend it.

This is a great size, weight, and has enough speed and memory to do the basics that I do online, browsing, music, word processing. A good value if you don't need a really powerful machine.

I've had so many different name brand lap tops and computers. This is my first MacBook. I can't believe I didn't purchase one earlier. It's extremely easy to navigate. The best way to explain how it functions is to say that it is clutter free and not busy while I'm working. There are no pop ups or scans that need to run. I am able to browse the web or do college work peacefully. The crisp colors on the screen are awesome. It is extremely light weight and thin. I also have lots of memory. I'm completely satisfied with my MacBook!

this is my second laptop from APPLE. I like this size ,and have one SD Card slot which I need . it is best for my work. also is very light and portable, of course.also cheaper than before.

We have used Macs since 1984 and when we decided to get a new laptop, it came down to the MacBook or the MacBook Air. Decided to go with the Air since it was a bit lighter and a little less expensive. Got it home, turned it on and my wife was working on it without a hitch. A little disappointed in not having a hard drive, rather than the flash drive, but it doesn't seem to have caused any problems. Also would have liked a DVD drive, but we can live without that, and if it becomes necessary, we'll just buy an external one.

I am really loving my MacBook Air. I bought it for my business and it is easy to work with and is really fast for a laptop. I bought it because of the reviews and the battery life on it.

The MacAir is, of course, trim and also speedy. Add-ons are inexpensive and functional if you want features such as a DVD drive (Super Drive) without the extra weight of the MacBook. The sound is great, with lots of 'play' in the feature. It seems not quite as bright as I have come to expect on my iPadAir but that might be because of the background colors or grey fonts. In any case, that is uncomfortable to these 'older eyes' and the ONLY reason for the less than 5 Star rating. Moving from a much older MacBook Pro (and operating system) to this one raised several issues which were easily and quickly resolved with the help of Apple people and Best Buy's Geek Squad. They are indispensable.

My daughter loves this computer. Lightweight so she can carry it around the house with her yet screen is large, not like an iPad. Speed is excellent! We r all pleased w the purchase!

I was looking for a lightweight laptop that was responsive and had good graphics for my high school daughter. It was so good that I purchased this one for my college freshman son

like all apple products I have purchased this laptop is just perfect. Ideal weight for a college student. It's fast and easy to use.

I love the Mac because it is user friendly! It offers more applications then my old pc. I love the graphics. Not a big fan of pages tho!

I've always wanted to have a Mac computer and just waiting for the right circumstance to get one. Macbook air is definitely the right laptop for me considering its functionality and weight, its got all I need. I'm looking forward to travel and stay connected online but don't want to use my cellphone or iPad air (i want the functionality of a laptop). This laptop is faster than my windows computer. I am so happy so far!

The Apple MacBook Air was purchased to replace an old Compaq laptop, so the speed, graphics, sleekness and all day power was amazing!

Love this light weight easy to bring anywhere lap top.. Best little thing I could have ever gotten myself. I have always had regular computers and lap tops "windows" and love the ipad and iphone I have.. so I figured why not try the Mac. Only wish it had a CD player built in like my past laptops have had.. I will eventually get a portable .

i love my mac book air because its fast and the battery last for a few days. It is also very light and easy to carry in my backpack.
