MacBook Air has so many positives, where to start? The 12 hr battery life is great. Changing from PC to Mac was much easier that I expected. After a 35 yr PC based IT career, I resisted the conversion but a perfect storm of events with my 3 yr old PC laptop convinced me to switch. It's simple concept made it easy. MacBook's compact design makes it very transportable without sacrificing power. I love it.

The MacBook Air is exactly as the name states- an extremely light Mac in a note book form. As most Apple products, it is simple but yet powerful and intuitive. Everyday use is a breeze. And if you own a Mac, transitioning from the notebook to your Mac is effortless when working on documents. No complaints here.

This is my first Mac and I really like it. It is fast, light weight. It is very easy to use. I wish the screen was a little bigger but the graphics are very good. The colors on the screen are bright and sharp.

I bought this as an upgrade from a 2011 model MacBook Air, so I was pretty sure I was going to like it. My only concern was whether I would notice any performance improvement since the 2011 model had an i7 processor whereas this model is an i5. This new model actually is faster as transcoding (converting) video files, so I'm glad I didn't accidentally take a step backward. Having USB 3 instead of 2 is also a very nice time saver when backing up hard drives. The new OS has taken some getting used to, and the removal of the Save As functionality from some apps is really frustrating (I don't care that there's a "workaround" - there shouldn't need to be a "workaround"). Also, the migration assistant wasn't able to "talk" to the older Macbook, so I had to copy everything over manually, and I'm still concerned (a month or so later) that I may have forgotten to copy something over that I'll sorely miss once I sell the older model. Otherwise, it's an awesome fast, lightweight, productive tool much like I expected.

I purchased this laptop for work and school. My last laptop was an old version Macbook, and I'm very happy with the Air. It is fast, apps load quickly, and internet runs smoothly. The computer itself is lightweight and thin. I recommend downloading El Capitan before you save files and programs. So far, I've had no issues with El Capitan or the Air. Excellent laptop!

I bought this laptop for my wife as she starts her new career as a social media manager and she loves it. It was extremely easy to set up, transfer all her files from her old Windows laptop and its intuitive. The seamless interaction between her phone, her iPad and her new MacBook Air is priceless. She loves the sleek design and light weight as well. Great product.

I had a MacBook Pro, but did not like the added weight. For travel purposes the Air is my choice, especially when data is stored on outside drives. Besides the two USB ports there is an SD card slot and that is as many as I need. I love the portability and screen size. The keyboard is quiet enough so as not to disturb in an adjudicating session.

An amazing laptop. Love pretty much everything about it. The light weight - yet sturdy construction, beautiful screen, love the lack of humming parts- like cooling fans! Light up keyboard is a feature I have used much more than I anticipated. I'm planning on running my business on this great little slim workhorse for years to come.
