My daughter wanted a macbook and we had a great deal with a trade-in. She is enjoying her computer as a freshman at a college which she can connect with her iphone.

I am thoroughly pleased with the purchase of the Mac Book Air. I had a Mac book Pro years ago and I liked it but it had it's cons. I then went to a PC laptop. Everything was good for about 5 months. After that the pc started to lag and have issues with updates and it started to overheat to the point you couldn't use it in your lap. This Mac book air is so thin and it gives off no heat. The trackpad is so incredible. It allows for quick computing and working with multiple screens and programs. I use this for Programming classes and AutoCAD. My professor said that AutoCAD wouldn't work on a mac. I showed him that it downloaded and was working properly.

I bought this computer for my mother when it was on sale for Presidents' Day weekend. Overall we are very pleased with the computer. The screen is nice, not as good as the retina screen, but still good. It is light but has plenty of battery and computing power. This is really a great all purpose computer. Very much recommend it.

It's light weight like expected with a sturdy frame that allows for opening of the screen without damaging it. Only additional item I would recommend is the Microsoft word package because transferring from note to word actually changed my formatting of my paper and lost me some points. Otherwise, I recommend this product as it syncs with my iPhone and has great run speed for me to do my school work and leisurely use.
