Apple is discontinuing Macbook Airs so they were selling this for a great price which is well worth it. If I needed two computers, I would buy two for the prices. If you are not doing graphics design work that needs photoshop, this is a an excellent choice. If you will work on images or large files, go for the mac book pro.

I bought this computer because I couldn't bring myself to spend the price for a pro and i am all around happy with the performance of the MacBook Air, I do wish I woulda bought the one with more storage but other than that, great.

Very pleased with this purchase. The experience of buying from Best Buy continues to be the best...i end up coming back to them for everything. The MacBook Air is a superb notebook...for all the Windows users - its very difficult to explain why this is just so much easier to work with ... you need just a couple of days to get used to the controls here, but once you do that, you will never go back to Windows!

my daughter loves her new macbook air. lightweight to drag around on campus and works great

My daughter was in need of her own computer for high school. She had been borrowing the family computer for homework research and projects and it simply was time for her to have her own. We decided on the MacBook Air. The price was right and is easy to use. Since my daughter already had an iPhone, the compatibility between her phone and the MacBook was important. We got it home and had it running within minutes.

This is the second MacBook I've purchased from Best Buy, after the first met it's untimely death courtesy of a passenger next to me on an airplane who spilled his beverage all over my computer. I reviewed other laptops before purchasing this replacement, briefly considering the Microsoft Surface and other PC laptops. I ultimately chose this product again, and remain just as happy as the day I bought my first one.
