I was 100% devoted to Windows before purchasing this product. I didn't like Mac products in the least, but a friend convinced me to give it a try. I will never go back to Windows! This product is very fast, secure, and user friendly! It never overheats and I've never had any unexpected shutdowns or viruses. It is compatible with all programs and is very customizable. I love this product!

Get this Macbook Air if you are looking for the best macbook out there. The screen resolution might not be the best, but everything else is top tier from the battery life to the portability this is the macbook that you want to rely on when you're doing stuff for school or work, or even casual web browsing. This product will definitely last you for so long as the build just feels solid.

This computer was the perfect fit for me. It has lots of great features that helped make highschool a breeze for me personally. It was light but yet durable and very easy to get to know.I could make presentations and graphs and charts and anything I needed to do I could complete and turn in in my mac. Iwould suggest it to anyone using it for educational purposes. Great laptop all around

I purchased this as an everyday computer for basic computing, creating and editing documents, checking email, etc... I do not do heavy gaming or movie downloads, so I cannot comment on its performance in that arena, however for my purposes, it is efficient and robust. The product is aesthetically pleasing and integrates seamlessly with my other Apple products ( I also like the fact that I can text and talk on the phone all from my computer). I chose a Mac over a PC because the two PCs that I had BOTH had issues and stopped working. However, my 10 year old MacBook is still going strong (it's now being utilized by my 5 year old for school). I will never purchase another PC, even though their prices are less expensive. You get what you pay for.

super light, cute, i can't say that its very powerful and i bought 128gb which is never enough for storage, but still...the design, i love it!

Well, a week after the "first generation" MacBook Air came out I bought one. It still runs today but after 7+ years one hinge broke and it hasn't got the resources to run the new OS. So I shopped around all the new Apple products and came to the conclusion the MacBook Air latest generation was for me. 8gig of ram is great, the dual core CPU is fast enough for everything I do; banking, surfing, streaming video etc (I'm not a gamer so I cannot talk it's performance there). The SSD means very fast boot and shutdown plus storage with NO latency to speak of. SDX card support was a must for me as I have many SD and SDX cards, USB 3.0 is also very fast with my 1Tb HD that I use for local time machine backups. Plus it is really light to carry around. WiFi to the printer, network, other computers, iPOD, no wires great!. Apple got it right with the first MackBook Air why not stick with a winner. Way to go Jony and his team. Oh and one thing more ....(to quote Steve) Sierra OS 10 is terrific. Regards Leejam41

My parents bought me this laptop when I began college. I have almost finished my second year and this laptop is still going strong without any lagging like other laptops would normally do. I purchased this laptop for my boyfriend for Christmas because he was desperate for a laptop and this was the only choice for me. It is slim, lightweight, and truly perfect for anyone.

My son received this as a graduation gift last year. He has found that the MacBook Air was the perfect choice to begin his college career.

I have always been a Mac user.....I think they are the best out there! This laptop is great. It is sleek and lightweight and very easy to use. The screen is easy to see, for a laptop. It includes all the great things that Mac computers have, and is a fabulous choice. Was purchased for a college student, and will be a great computer for her to use at college.

While an old product, the MacBook Air is still a great. The only downside to the Air is the lower resolution display. Need a port (other than USB-C) the Air has it. Need a fast SSD, it's got it. Need a light, portable, and yet powerful machine...the Air fits the bill. This device for the price is solid and very reliable to provide you years of great service.

My only gripe with this computer is the 128 GB hard drive. That was my own fault, because I was trying to save some money and get the cheaper model. I love the computer, and the hard drive is manageable since I just plug in my 2TB external drive to expand my memory space. Other than that, the battery is amazing, the computer is so light and thin, and it works really fast when operating programs. My favorite part about the whole computer is the solid state hard drive, which means that the computer doesn't get hot when using it for long periods of time like my old Macbook did. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, but would tell them to spend the extra money for the 256 GB hard drive.

This is one of the best laptops on the market with both portability and performance. i5 processor and 8 GB of RAM are suffiicient for most of my usage, be it web surfing, streaming movies or code development. I really love how portable this machine is. Probably the biggest selling point for me was its superior battery life compared to anything similar on the market.

Recently bought this as my first apple laptop purchase and I couldn't have made a better choice to do so. I bought this laptop for school assignments and projects and it hasn't disappointed. It's very fast and very reliable when taking to school everyday. I can't imagine going with a bigger or smaller sized screen (I purchased the 13 inch). Overall very satisfied!

It's my first mac, and I love it! It took some getting used to the operating system, but it's a welcomed change. The Air is lightweight, compact and easily portable with great battery life. I've gone 2 full days without a charge (sleep mode). It might not have the best graphics or performance, but if you aren't a designer, gamer, musician, etc. you should be good!
