this laptop is as easy to use as my iPhone and iPad and as efficient and fast.

I got this for my girlfriend for her college. She's always used Mac and was familiar with surroundings vs. windows 10 that I use. She loves it. It's light and easy to tote around. iOS is extremely user friendly and functional for someone without a technical know-how. It practically set up itself.

The machine started up right away, as expected, and had worked flawlessly from the beginning. It is light, fairly rugged, and user friendly. The screen resolution is good, setup was fast and easy. A good value!

My niece is starting her freshman in college this school year and her little brother is a freshman in high school. They somehow prefer the MacBook over the Surface or some other brand. Primarily the laud it for ease of use and convenience - maybe because they are already Iphone users. School year had barely started and they seem to be excited to use their new "school companion".

With 4-5 iPhone versions already under her belt, I treated my wife to her first Mac (after some push back during our last computer refresh cycle). After only one day she knew she had made a good, but long overdue decision. The Apple hardware is of top quality and our tech advocate at Best Buy in La Quinta did a excellent job making sure we understood the differences between the different models. In short, over the past 3 years our family has completed the fundational switch to the Mac ecosystem (2 iPhones, 3 iPads, 2 MacBooks, Apple TV, iTunes and iCloud). Sorry Dell. Sorry Toshiba. Sorry Samsung. Sorry Norton Antivirus. Oh and last but not least, sorry Microsoft. I've owned every Microsoft operating system since DOS and 3.1...I even made my 30 year career around selling and deploying MS solutions. While MS still owns the workplace and PC gaming, for those of you at home who want a great peice of reliable hardware running an outstanding and easy to use operating system, you can't go wrong buying a MacBook. You can even run your old Windows 7 or 10 in a dual boot setup for those who must venture back to MS PC land permanently or from time to time. Trust me, you may pay a little extra, but you won't be disappointed with the value, nor will you be looking to replace it after just 2-3 years.

This is a replacement for our old one and it's great. Lighter and faster.

I like MacBook Air a lot. It's light and slim. Black Friday price is good.

I bought this laptop just when Apple was coming out with newer models. Microcenter was selling the existing laptop at $250 off and Bestbuy matched Microcenter price. My final cost paid for the laptop was $750. I love the laptop and hats off to Best Buy for price matching and making this work for me. Laptop is pretty fast and use it everyday for all my regular jobs.
