Great computer for a middle school student
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the MacBook air for my fifth grade child, she is headed to middle school and thought this would be a great beginners computer. since she was already familiar with the iPhone this would be an easy device to get used to. I loaded Microsoft office for Mac and she is able to do letters and reports. this is an excellent computer.

Mac Air is the one!

Pro was $600 higher on Black Friday. Very happy with the Air. Fast, quiet and after connecting it to my 24 inch monitor I am using it as a desktop and laptop. What a machine! Watched a few videos on you tube to understand the software.

For their purpose Airs are fantastic.

As with all apple computers the quality leads to great longevity when cared for. (We have 3 other mac laptops that range in age from 4-11 years old now).

The screen has a wide range of brightness and the keyboard is predictable and responsive. The included office suite software opens Microsoft documents, although beware of saving documents as there can be compatibility errors.

I finally got to use a friends and fell in love. Then I got my own. I fell even more in love. I love the operating system. Everything runs smoothly and quickly. The design is sleek.

Great laptop

I bought both of my children macs last year - no issues and the kids love them. All 3 were bought easily at Best Buy. I am still learning the changes in functionality which can be frustrating - what? why can't you right click?! Otherwise very pleased...
