No fear of virus attacks. My daughter uses it for her school work (she is a junior in high school and almost all work is done on the computer). Because her backpack is heavy, the light weight of the macbook air is helpful.

Awesome laptop...good features, value for the money...

Been eyeing this one and snatched it up when it went on sale. I prefer MacOS for ease of use for my daughter. I know it'll last for the duration of her college years.

So far have had no issues with this computer. I didn't need anything too crazy, as it is primarily for writing and using the internet. The price point for an Apple product is great and it has met my needs well thus far.

I was transitioning from my giant MacBook Pro, and I love how light this Air is. It satisfies all of my needs, and I feel like Mac is just best for me-->very user friendly, even for those who aren't great with technology :)

All you would expect from a MacBook. Perfect for light computer use. If you do a lot with photos, I'd suggest a MacBook Pro or at least getting the 256gb. I added a cheap128gb nano USB drive for convenient extra storage.

My son needed a computer for his first year of college and this was the best choice for us. I happen to receive an email from Best Buy about a flash sale. We ended up getting this computer on a steal of a deal! He loves it.

I got this for my son going to college. I have been using Mac Air and Mac Pros for years, could not be happier since I switched from PCs back in 2010. My son is very happy and I am sure that he will see the difference.

I LOVE the lightweight sleek design. I thought I would miss the cd drive but have never needed it so that is proof it is going obsolete. Best laptop by far I have ever owned. I am so glad I switched to Apple!!

I am enjoying getting to know my new laptop. It fits easily in my backpack and is much lighter than my old one. Getting used to the extra sensitive pad as it allows for quicker, smoother movement between documents.

I bought this computer for school after my first one died. I'm a big fan of Apple products so obviously I think this is a great laptop. I'm able to take notes efficiently and get my homework and quizzes done without delay.

I was deciding between a MacBook Pro or Air and I am glad I chose the Air. There are many features the Pro has but they are unnecessary. The Air works perfect for all of my schoolwork, and all of my business and gaming needs

super easy to set up. after updating to newest OS it has worked like a dream. less than 10 seconds to boot into OS from being powered off. Fast and reliable. it has yet to lock up on me. Good luck having that with any PC.
